Pretty hard to imagine someone moving to Carthage and landing a decent job unless you are hired as a teacher/coach. Maybe you could find something in Longview or Shreveport and commute.

The girls side at John Tyler isn't any better. My daughter came from a game there with stitches in her eye from a malicious foul on a fast break layup. Damn I was mad. The coach had no better sense than to schedule a game there.

It took a long time for sports writers and other sports media folks to recognize how special this coach and his program was. I think being in east Texas and not central texas was some of the reason.
