Have seen both teams play in the playoffs this year. N. Lamar hits the ball well but I dont think they will hit Davis. Hargis is very solid but was really impressed with the other NL pitcher , awesome changeup and knows when to throw it. Henderson got the key hits when needed. Very resiliant team. Will take advantage of mistakes. Should be a great series . Would give Henderson the edge because of Davis.

The Rusk pitcher will be fine. The people that "know" softball take hs ball for what it is. This kid has pitched all over the country with some of the best coaches in the business watching her. Show me someone who doesn't have an occasional bad day and I will show you a liar !

Did the Rusk ace pitch ? If so, they can hit !

Carthage pitcher is definitely the real deal but has alot of room to grow. Don't know who is calling her pitches, but they need to mix it up . She has an excellent changeup but throws it too offen. Takes away the guessing . This kid will be really good before she is out of hs.

Was at the game and didn't really notice the calls behind the plate. I personally saw 1 questionable pitch called a strike. No big deal. A lot of times when the batter goes down looking , you "assume" it was a bad call. I saw several of Mineola's really good hitters , go down looking at strikes. I know for a fact that the CH pitcher has a really good screw and curve ball. The umps did not , by any means , determine the outcome of this series. CH looks to be peaking at the right time. The Ladyjackets had a few bonehead base running errors's . Really good softball from 2 really good teams. Congrats to both!

Tyler would seem a little more logical than Marshall. This should be a great series. Good pitching on both ends. I think whoever steps up at the plate will take this one. The freshman from Mineola is not a freshman anymore !! LOL. CH Junior will challenge the Jackets and then some. Will be a good one. Would like to see the Lady Jackets squeek this one out.

Looks as if these girls , and alot of the good teams in ET, can win reguardless of who coaches them. I think the girls should be commended on the job they have done, despite all the adversity they have been through off the field. Great job ladies !!! Good luck against Central Hieghts in the Reg. Finals !!!!!
