Why is he JUST NOW deciding to file a wrongful death suit against his step-mom, his father passed 2 years ago?? I never heard a word about this until she testified against him!! Jeff Hammond made the comment that Mayfield needs to just close his mouth at this point and go get the help he needs for his problem!! Guilty or not I am sure he is DONE as far as ever being part of NASCAR ever again!

I don't know alot about meth but Jeremy Mayfield doesn't look like someone who is hooked on meth!! I have personally seen what being hooked on meth can do to a person and what it can turn them into physically and mentally and it just doesn't all add up to me!! One thing that is puzzling to me is that you have NOT heard one word from his wife about the whole situation, and if he was hooked on something like that surely she would know!! If it were my husband that was being accused of something like this and I knew he was innocent and it affecting my family emotionally and financially as surely this is I would be claiming his innocence from the roof tops and fighting right along side him!! If this is all a farce then NASCAR and the step-mom better watch out, but if not shame on you Jeremy Mayfield and you deserve to be kicked out by NASCAR! Just my opinion!!

Play, play, play!! My opinion is that your boys need to be on an academy team that plays games during the spring and fall and summer if they are willing and of course when they are of age they need to advance to a club team which most academy teams do! My daughter was 11 when she started playing club after playing rec since she was 4 and it was the best decision we have ever made, her skills have improved year after year and continue now during her high school years!! Best of Luck to your boys!!!

From what I understand the Lindale coach will be leaving the team and going into administration and after talking to some of the Lindale parents they are worried about who is going to replace him also!!

:notworthy: I just wanted to say a BIG Congratulations to the TSA Tyler Lady Longhorns for being U16 Champions of the Ross Stewart Memorial Invitational Tournament in Plano this past weekend!!! This is the most awesome group of players from Chapel Hill/Lindale/RELee/Brook Hill and they have been playing together for years and they have the greatest coach ever!! Thank you to Paul Frye for being a great coach and friend to these girls, you have been a big part of why these girls are the players they are today in high school and I sure hope you keep the team together until they all leave for college!! It's a darn shame all of these girls don't go to the same school!!!

On the girls side I feel that it will be a close race again in our district between, Lindale-Chapel Hill-Whitehouse for the top spot! A lot of changes for these schools for next season!! As far as CH goes, we have a new coach coming :thumbsup: Ashley Aparicio our awesome midfielder will be back for her Sr. year :thumbsup: The entire team will be veteran players (don't know of any freshman players coming in) :thumbsup: We have a new AD that is great and as excited about the girls athletic program as he is the boys!! :thumbsup: So hopefully CH Lady Bulldogs will have a great season in 2010!!

Dempsey played awful last night I thought, bad passes and wasted shots all night!! I am really glad they pulled through and won, it wouldn't be the same World Cup without the US in it!!!

:thumbsup: I just wanted to say that TMT did a great job in choosing the All-East Texas teams this year!! The East Texas area had such a great group of girls this year and it seems that most of the graduating seniors are going to continue to play in college which is great!! The 2010 season looks to be loaded with plenty of talent also, so best of luck to all the East Texas teams in the upcoming season!! PS: 2nd Team Midfielder is Cameron Brown not Cameron Steele from Chapel Hill!!

Eagle88 you are taking this way too far!!! I know this topic is about All-Region and thats what my original posts concerned!! I need no clarification on the district coaches All-District picks because I know what happened! As far as my daughter is concerned I have NEVER mentioned anything on any post anywhere about my daughter not receiving or deserving a superlative in district this year, and I feel she got exactly what she deserved!!! I need no one to help me understand why my daughter didn't receive a superlative this year because I know why, I watch every minute that she plays of every game and believe me when she doesnt play up to her potential I am the first one to say so!! I take absolutely nothing away from the Eustace players at all and feel they are very deserving of any honor they receive, what I said in my post was due to my ill knowledge of the voting process for All-Region and was clarified by your post on the All-Region voting rules.

Eagle 88, this comment was about our All-District selections not All-Region!!! Baseballfan was replying to my comment that they finished last in our district and received superlative honors also. I read your earlier post and after doing so I understood the All-Region nominations process. His comment is in fact absolutely true about our districts All-District nominations this year.

Wow that is amazing that a player from the Eustace girls team made all-region!!! They finished at the bottom in our district.
