To be the best you have to play the best?? That's why A&M is leaving. And is you don't thing UT doesn't gain a recruiting advantage with their network showing high school games you need to climb out from under your rock!

What a great accomplishment for this outstanding young man. I admire his respect for his family, teammates and university. He is what college athletics should be be about. Coach Sherman did an oustanding job mentoring this young man and Von, in my opinion, made all the right decisions. A real feather in the cap for Texas A&M football program. Gig'em!!

How far west did they pick players from? Was the Trinity River the west line? One school from western area that both girls and boys made it to the regional finals with lots of seniors on both teams and none of them make this team. Just curious.

Don't get offended and I'm not trying to stir up anything-Don't have a dog in the hunt but it is what it is. Been around the game a long time and there is an appropiate time to work on things and inappropiate time. But if you say it didn't happen, then we don't have anything to discuss. All I ask is give the "game of baseball" the respect it deserves. Simply put, there is a right way and a wrong way so let's teach all of our kids the right way. Again wishing YUGA all the luck and hope to see them in Austin in June.

Bobcats win 48-39. Will play at noon tomorrow against winner of Muenster/Clyde Eula. Way go go CATS!!!!

Bobcats will play Albany at 1:00pm. Muenster and Clye Eula on the other side of the bracket. Championship game at noon on Saturday. Good luck Bobcats!!

Regional Tourney in Abilene (ACU). Lady Cats play Goldthwaite at 10:00am on Friday. Good Luck girls!!

Kerens 48 Gunter 47

Kerens Lady Bobcats defeated Gunter 48-47 in warmup game on Monday night. Kerens will play Itasca on Friday at Blooming Gove at 7:00pm. Itasca defeated Hubbard in OT on Monday night. Good luck Lady Bobcats!!!

Kerens Lady Bobcats win district!! They have a bye on Tuesday and then will play winner of Itasca/Hubbard on Friday either at Ennis HS or Blooming Grove HS. Top 3 in Region appear to be Goldthwaite, Muenster and Kerens. Lady Bobcats play Gunter tonite in warmup game in Rowlett. Gunter ranked #9 in 2A. Good luck Lady Bobcats!!!
