I had to go watch the Pine Tree Hallsville game to see for myself. I have seen some post about the kids McAfee and Wingfield being good underclassmen. McAfee looked good but was up against Peterson pitching really well. I know he is good by the stats. The Wingfield kid hit the ball very hard to all parts of the field. I think a double and triple and a line shot caught at the wall. Looking foward to seeing these two again. Pine Tree has a better team than the score shows. Peterson was pretty tough.

Yea, I came to a scrimmage at Long High with my family.( Mistake ) It was like walking into a zoo out of control. I will never let that happen again. Worst atmosphere I have ever seen. This was on the visitors side.

I guess if they don't win this year we move them to 3A

I have heard the same thing. These are two that will be fun to watch.I friend of mine said they have played together for the last several years in select ball and both are very good kids.

I check the stats in the paper. I see the Hallsville kids here, but the kid that plays third base I think leads that team in rbi's and at the top of most of the stats. I also think he is a soph.
