Looked to me like White Oak changed their game plan from what has worked for them the whole season. Qb usually has 20+ carries a game and was non-existent in this game leaving Jefferson to key on running back and leaving 3rd and long most of the time. White Oak's defense also gave up to many big plays when they had Jefferson in a bind.

Van's passing was effective against White Oak, running game not so much. Their defense was in White Oak's backfield a lot. White Oak had a couple nice runs but could not move the football up the field. Had one long pass play to start the game but that was it.

EF must have a very good team (10-0), I can't see any umpire "calling against" your team. When umpires are bad they are bad for both teams.

i agree with you knowledgeman, these selections should be based on merit and not on popularity or because someone is a senior. There needs to be some sort of criteria used to make these selections because some coaches have more influence than others. Being selected to an all district team should be an honor and it seems as though these selections have been watered down over the years. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth, not much.
