Worked for Nacogdoches as Texas High won game 1, but lost the next two because of superior pitching.

Randall Fant will start for Arkansa Saturday against South Carolina. Game is on one of the ESPN networks at noon

Fant pitched a great game. He had 16 K's, 4 hits, & 1 walk in 8 innings. T-High just could not score on offense. Sulphur Spring's Jordan & Jenner Jackson were really good as well scattering 6 hits.

From the Texarkana Gazette concerning Randall Fant's younger brother. "Freshman left-hander Ryan Fant went the distance on the mound, scattering six hits, and Texas High took advantage of wildness on the part of Sherman’s pitchers to beat the Bearcats, 6-2, and move into a tie for the District 13-4A lead. Fant struck out five and walked two in improving to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers are 7-2 in district play and 17-6 overall. Sherman (7-2) lost its second straight game. The Tigers and Sherman share first place alone after Greenville upset Sulphur Springs (6-3), 4-2, Friday."

Just heard. Will be 2 out of 3. T-High at home on Thursday. At Mc North on Saturday. Go Tigers!

Just pulled up latest MaxPrep poll (05/25/09) & Texas High is ranked #1. Rockwall Heath is #10. Hallsville is #5. I'd say that is pretty good competition. Go Tigers.....

Just got word the game is postponed until Friday night @ 7:00 pm due to sloppy field.

They are Horned Hogs! His Dad is from Liberty-Eylau & his Mom is from Arkansas High, but they all bleed Orange....
