This is what happened to New Waverly http://www.smoaky.com/forum/index.php?show...&hl=waverly
-
THSBCA released the 2010 All-State Teams on their website... What's the skinny? www.thsbca.com/teams/
-
Why aren't they the consensus number one then? or, atleast least ahead of that heaven forsaken New Waverly team. why did scouts at the last series say that none of them topped out at over 83 mph? what hidden level is this?
-
yeah and that Corrigan team in NW's district didn't have any hitters on it right?
-
feeling like a statistician today... NW staff (Core three): 1.7 ERA, .168 BA against, and 294 Ks in 182 IP. But wait...they don't play in 18-AA....these numbers are probably inflated...
-
although it is hard to tell from your ambiguity what you are referring to I assume it's that NW is afraid to play White Oak in three games, or two rather?
-
which you are entitled too but then again wouldn't you think if you had a guy who's 15-0 with an ERA of under one, holding batters to a .157 avg and has only given up 5 extra base hits all season you we be pretty confident in the fact that you could win that game and not waste any time with a series. Besides, NW isn't scared to play a series, which has been implied. The fact is the feasibility of series is no longer there with NW graduation tonight.
-
Well I think the two tracksters going 7-14 the Harelton series isn't too shabby
-
And NW is still faster. Stolen bases have many variables like the catchers and aggressiveness of the coach. NW gets up early on the other team and there is no need to keep stealing in run rule situations.
-
Considering the two track kids are batting over 400 that argument Is invalid
-
I'm just saying there are multiple state track champions on the NW squad
-
looked as if they were going to try to neutralize the team speed NW has and Corrigan lacked (last series), by trying to play that game in the slop
-
NW grad Friday

this is very applicable for you as well. being from Harmony and having ridden fieldan as long as possible I would think you of all people would understand using a one game series. but it seems that the old adage "if you can't beat em, join em" is the case as you have too fallen to the submissive powers of the necks, just as NW will I assume
-
I don't know what post resounds that message. A good series awaits but saying they have respect for NW was easily belied by their actions last time the trams met.
