  1. Doesn't New Boston have to beat Pewitt tonite to seal 4th place? Thought Queen City would be tied if New Boston happened to lose today.
  2. I want to say that streak ended by Daingerfield was back in early 2000's maybe 2002 football season...Celina had dominated what was then 2A for years and then step up to what was then 3A and met Daingerfield round 2 or 3. There may have been another streak around 2010 but Im not sure.
  3. Don't assume that Dekalb will beat QC... Waskom may be flanking them not Dekalb. I'll go with QC 30 to 22.
  4. It was 13-6 at time of fight 6mins left... 1 or two plays after the fight hooks went up 20-6.
  5. At the same time I saw a hooks player at full speed after the play about ten yards from the other fight... Push a QC player in the back and then a QC player came and shoved him taking up for his teammate then it started a fight as well.. Both side guilty I didn't say it was hooks fault. But seems like everyone here attacking QC. We don't know what all went on.. Maybe hooks player said something about #55's momma. Who knows lol
  6. Maybe the game shouldn't have continued I dunno but it was a one score game with 6 minutes left... But we all know once game completely ends some of those kids on the sideline may be planning something stupid if you shake hands.. Just not worth the risk. Linden didn't shake our hands last week... First think I thought..... Their coach must have reason to think there may be a fight... There had been no fights or anything during the game.
  7. I hope you still are not talking about me... I said that was overboard.
  8. A hand shake is not worth it. And whether you believe it or not hooks players were just as at fault for the fighting... I've been around QC long enough to know these QC kids don't start fights. They are guilty of mouthing at times but they are not going to start a fights. Obviously they will take up for one another when needed.
  9. I said overboard. I have stated nothing that should be disagreeable with. You trying to find something wrong with what I said. There's nothing wrong with what I said... I said overboard by the coach if that was actually said... And I said no one should have been allowed on the grass of the football field.
  10. Overboard. But I will stick to the fact that no one should have entered the field to shake or anything... It was putting 15-18 year old girls in harms way letting them on the field. Security actually should have not allowed anyone on the field players coaches cheer anyone.
  11. What was said by the coach exactly? Because after a game that resulted in a bench clearing brawl no one should enter the field to shake or cheer.... Evacuate the field as quickly as possible.....Just common sense and coaches administrators cheer sponsors everyone should have not allowed it... So if the coach said something like get off the Damn field I would back that Comment completely... So what was said exactly? If it was more Severe than that then I would say the coach went overboard... this was all clearly caused mostly by the refs for allowing both teams kids to late hit and be unsportsmanlike throughout the game both sides were cause for the fights but if refs would have called it a little tighter this wouldn't have happend.... But high school aged kids from any school will do as much as they can get away with and this time it caused a bigger issue... Just my two cents
  12. If your going to do it it would have to be done by umpires. And recorded with their time sheets or something. Pitch counter used by umpire in field
  13. Trust me most all coaches are keeping pitch counts for their pitcher and opposing pitcher. If they are using game changer which several do it's keeping track of it or a book keeper can keep track easily... And when it comes to district opposing coaches won't let another coach slip on the rules they will let someone know. I dot think think innings would be fair cause one kid may throw 100 pitches in 5 innings and another may throw 80 in 7 inning.
  14. I would like to see it in Texas as well. Those numbers seem reasonable. If you were in a three game series and wanted your Thursday started to be able to pitch on Saturday you would have to get him out before he hit 61 pitches that is reasonable. From coaches side and players side.
