Does anyone know any stats for the JV, in particular Wall's rushing stats? The Lobos are going to be loaded on defense. And what about the Freshman running back that transferred in from Desoto in middle school who had the fastest times in the nation in the 100 and 200. Is he still at Longview? I also heard about two TE's that were around 6'3'' in middle school who should be soph. next year?

I agree a very exciting year, Longview is going to be really good the next two years. Longview reminds me of Lufkin when the kept losing in the simi-finals, if they keep giving it all they have sooner or later they will get the breaks too.

Does any have the 2009 or 2010 lobo highlight dvds?

Two players really stood out today at Lobo staduim, Larry Thomas was all over the field, I mean all over the field. He reminded me of #88 from JT a few years back. Not as good but in the same mold. Bivens Carraway looked very sharp and accurate passing the ball. He attemped about 12 to 15 passes and EVERY pass was catchable, every one. The offensive and defensive lines both had good moments. # 2 at running back was really good, made moves like Barry Sanders, he could make a cut at full speed and leave the defender grabbing air. When Longview gets all the bugs worked out and barring major injuries this will be a very balanced and explosive offense. The defense will be strong, the linebackers and d-line played very well, with that being said the secondary still has some work to do. SPEED all over the field. Wilson looked good at FB, made plays running as well as recieving the ball. I can't wait for the fall GO LOBOS!!!!

I have to say a lot of people down King but I was one of those fans that drove to all those first and second round early playoff exit games and I hated it. Longview is a different program now. Longview can compete with anyone, and beat anyone on any given day. That speaks volumes for our football program.

This is as bad as waiting on Christmas when you were a kid !

What about the 6' 4'' reciever, does anyone know his 40 time, has he made any camps? I heard last year the there were two tight ends in 8th grade theat botth stood 6' 4'' or so. That will be a good set for the freshman team next season.

All I have to say is coach Berry is a very smart man, they were the only team to beat Evangel on a regular basis ( when Evangel was on top) and he has had a year to study this offense. I can't wait until Saturday!!!!!!!! GO LOBOS.

Longview looks more intent, even with the mistakes, they took it to Hachie. The key Saturday night is to hit Walsh EVERY running play. If it is an option play he can be hit . Longview used to do this against LH and D'VILLE and punish their QB's. By the end of the game it will take it's toll!
