Each team is playing for something. As you said, Tatum is playing for Bill, and Center is playing for a variety of reason. Both teams have great skills. The game will come down to who wants it more. (IMO)

First off, I do not know what Carthage has to do with this thread. This is about Center and Tatum. Second, regardless of the outcome of Friday's game, Center has come a long way this season. They have played with spirit, heart, and desire. IMO they have played games with unfair referees. Coach Goodwin has done wonders with the team, and just the fact of making the playoffs is a big deal. Center will play a good game, and hopefully win. If Tatum is hungry, Center is starving. Good luck Riders! :highfive:

What does luck have to do with it? Center Riders are playing with talent, desire, and good coaching strategies. Coach Goodwin is doing a good job with his boys and staff. Don't you wish your Coach was as good as him???

I agree that luck does not have to do with the Riders winning. But why so much emphasis on one player? It takes more than one player to make a team.

I have to disagree. . . Center players will give everything they have. You will not see that look before, after or during the game. Coach Goodwin knows how to motivate his boys. Rusk players on the other hand may have that expression on their face from beginning to end.

Agreed, Callahan was not good at motivating the Riders, but Coach Goodwin is doing some amazing work. I know it has been a short period of time he has been in Center, but he is getting the respect of his team as well as respecting them. Center made a good choice going with Goodwin.

Callahan may have been a good coach, but there comes a time when change is needed. Coach Goodwin is reviving Center's football team, and he has the respect of many. Coach Goodwin is not only making Center stronger through motivation, he is also showing the team how to win. In my opinion, the same cannot be said about Callahan.
