  1. coach ballenger had his team well prepared. good job jason! keep em rollin !
  2. not only does he get 15-20 carries a game, he also starts on defense and leads the team with tackles. you might have faster back-ups, but not better.
  3. thank you "eagle titled" guys for your compliments on our team. we too think they play hard every week. you guys, though , are the real deal!! impressive skill kids that can fly!! i might add the tatum players are a very classy group, and coach Evans has done a super job with them....having said all that, if and when our season ends, playoffs or not, i will be an eagle supporter !! do yall have any old green t-shirts you could spare ? lol good luck the rest of the way!
  4. Franks, your site is awesome and you do a great job promoting high school football !!
  5. new diana 34 harmony 7 was the final score
  6. definite break of the femur. was in traction last night and had surgery at 10 am this morning. haven't heard anymore. thanks for your concerns and prayers.
  7. ore city has only lost once...2-1 i believe
  8. no i want you to tell us more about our team...since you know us so well.....how many kids did we lose in the wr game....besides brewer ( sprained thumb and collapsed lung out 3 weeks ), we lost our se for the year (all sports ) with a lacerated kidney, our 2nd fullback went out with a knee, our starting center had a funeral in arkansas, we've been wout our starting left guard with a torn acl since the opening ko vs ore city. i still think we can upset malakoff...maybe not, but what we put on the field will play lights out win or lose. we will be without 4 starters this week, but we will still get after it. ps if a frog had wings he wouldnt need to jump
  9. are the nachos good in malakoff...hope so...sure is a long way from nd !!
  10. back in the days before hallsville had turf, pine tree students planted a big ol pine tree at the 50 yard. was always a big rivalry game.
  11. gotta go with my ole pals rocky baker, that other coach that can't tie on a fishing lure ( lol skelly ), and henry "emeril" pace! good luck guys.
  12. what film??????? i didnt see you watching film with us......why dont you quit while your behind.
  13. dang banker how did u manage to watch two scrimmages at once ? man your fast. at dekalb and wo at the same time.
  14. grand saline, brookhill, and white oak.....how did each team look ?
  15. 2 td's for nd, 1 td for dekalb. nd played 10 different backs and mixed in many different linemen in the first 15 play set. the starting offense was intact only for the 3rd series of 10 plays in which they scored. the first segment with each team getting the ball at the 20 going in was dominated by nd as they scored quickly running the ball. the nd passing game looked very promising highlighted by te cody belt's 65 yd play and brewers 50 yd play. the 2 screen passes went for about 35 yds. wb's barron and newsome caught some passes for good ydg as well. dekalb looked scrappy on defense and will surprise some people this year. their new staff has them playing very hard. i really think if the starters played all 15 plays, nd would have scored more. a scrimmage is just that...a chance to see alot of kids. good job by both teams.
