Lets see where this goes. great facilities and there is always athletes. Wonder if they will bring back 2a regionals. Was always a great meet there.

Its tough sometime in small districts to get all athletes out for football especially being an old school offense like they have been in the past. Also on top of that if they were burned by the coach its hard to trust the new guy. Society is getting softer and not all kids are playing football anymore like they have been. I'm not trying to make excuses and I'm far from the program. I just know it could take a year of throwing it around and a new mentality to get the kids out to play. ( edit) just looked they are running a flex bone triple option look so may take a little more and look more like a gunter/cooper to get the kids to come play.

honestly with what they had I don't know many that could have done more. maybe score some more( 5.6 ppg) and not give up close to 47 a game, but there was not a whole lot of talent there. New coach and system and not great athletes to fill those positions leads to a bad year.

true didn't even look at that. right at the 10 day mark plus one.. Coordinator moving up most likely an inside job. If its outside then they got that one special resume the wanted.

According to THSCA Bosqueville is open. Wonder how they will be in 24?

I mean there was a letter sent to all.district schools about them. recruiting from parents of love joy. guess did such a good job it landed him this gig.

Probationary contracts are so feeble that as long as you dont tell them why you can let them.go without much documentation. Term contracts are slightly better. But as a wise coach once told me you either have been fired or gonna be. Just the business. If they want you gone they will find a way.

Losing Both rb's well main ones, the big wr, and another starting wr. #5 and 22 gonna be hard to replace that duo and the qb was very headsy and could run when needed.

Yea district 8 lost kaufman too. They turned in 1341. So 5A. Be interesting to who they add.

True and Allen is desoto plus Duncanville put togther size wize and hasnt been able to win as much lately. Maybe with that many its impossible to develop properly. Or if your not getting statting reps going down the road to Melissa/Anna/proaper/lovejoy and why they are getting better. We will see in the next coming years.

Elsewhere outaide the area im guessing. Only onther small schools close are burkville and San Augustine. Got Jasper close but would be interesting to see where the movement is going.

Yea maybe they will replace west hardin in that district since they just dropped. Will see what the uil dose.

I understand that. I'm just wondering why the large number of kids drop. That's not just a small class that's two smaller classes and people maybe moving out. 52 may not seem a lot but to school that size that's huge. That would be equivalent to Allen loosing about 1350 kids. (sadly this would still make them the largest school in the state by about 250 kids)

so.. anything come of this or is it still being investigated?

Looking at a school this size , 52 kids difference in two years that is nearly and entire grades worth of kids gone!! That's going from grades with 68 kids a piece to 55 kids a piece .. wow! over a 19% drop..wonder what happened?

3-3 in a district which all but Newton got beat in the first round. Don't know what they have coming back. Them dropping to 2a-D1 maybe the best thing to help them be competitive. 221 this time around 273 last time. that's quite a large drop and a little bit of a flag. Let's See who the Hornets bring in.

All I know is I'm trying to improve my predictive algorithm to be even better. Before the playoff started out of 12 state games it predicted both teams correctly 10 out if the 12 games. It predicted 1 team correctly in all 12 games. Before the state games, It correctly picked 10 out of the 12 game correctly. where SOC and Franklin were the only two misses. Not to shabby but still looking to improve. I'm also working on over under lines and +/- points. Gonna be a fun offseason.

Facts.. i was first row that sise line and literally nothing after thr contact on the breka which was before the ball was thrown and within the yardardage for the call. Great break on ball. And a bad call on the png sideline of all places.

Hate to see a game determined by a ticky tack call.. wow..

4th and 26.. a hard call
