  1. He don't have to give me a pass. I said nothing wrong nawfsida. He is aware of the lack of defense that is being played in Lufkin right now.
  2. No one took a shot at their defense, fool.
  3. Wow. 1 trail by 1 point because we missed an extra point. Meanwhile yall were being beaten at halftime (Mesquite) and tied up with an injured up team (North). Oh..and then there is Rockwall.. Your homie says we're the same because we're both 6-1....that is clearly incorrect. The only fan base that doesn't pay attention to detail + believes non district is just as important as district. lol how the hell could you possibly argue with 4-0 > 3-1? Smh.
  4. And you still have no clue. Kendrevian White went for over 200+ yards but Lufkin played lights out defense on us that night. lmao
  5. Typical 99, has no idea what he's talking about. We were beating them 35-10 when he got injured freakin' fool! It's okay though, JT will find out about Horn soon enough. Whether it's Robison or Givens, they will definitely carve up JT's defense. Luckily, you all will still have a shot at winning since they don't play a lick of defense either.
  6. Big difference if you actually finished a story for once. (4-0 with no trails) > (3-1 with trails)
  7. Splitting divisions is horrible for travel in 5A and 6A period.
  8. lol. I wouldn't want either in terms of chasing a championship....I wouldn't trade our defense for anyone elses on our schedule though either. They play well at times and produce turnovers, but man...every since Lee week....they have been kings of giving up big plays. No one has hardly marched down the field on them or anything but we just give up big yardage plays that result in TD's. And for the love of everything, I cannot figure out why it has become so easy to run on us up the middle. I haven't seen decent LB play since the Horn game...let that sink in. If we ever cleaned that up...which I doubt we will..we'd be so much better. I feel worse for yall. Arguably one of the top offenses in the state going to waste because the defense isn't interested in stopping a nose bleed.
  9. You can't name the players that were missing though. And even if you did, the comparison is apples to oranges. Why? Because JT was a horrible program during this time frame...all 4 or 5 people who use to attend JT games could vouch for that. No player would have made a difference. You're on here talking about Kendall Hunter as if he would have made a difference in 2005. He played in 2006...the year JT posted an amazing 4-7 record. Chris Robison wasn't playing hurt vs us. He left that game because of a hit that caused an unrelated injury from his original. Their sophomore QB Givens is just as dangerous anyway, and he has proven it all year. And lets not act like JT's move to 6A has been some cakewalk. Yall have trailed at some point in every game in district play except against Heath....every single one. Hell Mesquite had you down by 7 at the half and North even had yall sweating at the half WITHOUT several players including Gooch. So don't get on here beating your chess about how easy yalls district wins have come. lol
  10. I know. Last year yall returned more starters as well. lol
  11. Y'all returned more starters than we did. lol
  12. JT's rival is All Saints because it's right down the street. :)
  13. Pinpoint the injuries/absent players in all of those games and I'll gladly do that. Until then, lets stick to REAL facts... Which are: 1. John King has never loss a district home game in his 13th season as our HC. 2. John Tyler has not beaten Longview in district play in 16 years. 3. Lastly, John Tyler has not beaten Longview in district play AT LOBO in 18 years. Don't give me no BS stats like "we're 4-0 at Lobo the last 4 times" when two of those times weren't even against us and the other two were against none 100% teams. JT saw first hand last season what it's like playing 100% Lobo teams. Total domination.
  14. And the past one game, The Longhorns played some defense. But it was against Iowa State. Who cares! We ain't Texas High and JT has yet to beat a 100% Lobo team in lord knows how long.
  15. Oh my.... If I see you post this nonsense again..
  16. Assistant coaches have taken the blame and have be fired, now it's because of lack of talent. Okay. Michigan, Baylor, Houston and Miami have/had more talent in place than Texas? I guess Cal and Oklahoma St did too.. That's not what the recruiting rankings reflect... At what point does this guy start taking some blame?
  17. This was 1-5 Iowa State. Who cares.
  18. When? Next year? Year after next? Year after that? How come Harbaugh was able to turn his program around so fast? How come Herman was able to do the same? How come Richt was able to do the same? Why was Baylor able to maintain a winning environment despite the absents of Art Briles? Wish folks would stop protecting chawlie by saying "maybe next year" or "the wins will come". You will grow old and stiff waiting on him to win anything. He simply is not that good of a coach. Good recruiter though but that means nothing when you can't coach the talent.
  19. Like what? Taught players how to be a well dressed loser? You can have chawlie, the rest of us want a better coach. Losing is unacceptable at Texas especially with the amount of money he's taking.
  20. Losing a RB at Longview is like cutting the head off certain worms, another emerges. lol
  21. It is entirely sad that Baylor plays WAY better defense than us, and they just loss their head coach. Currently killing Kansas 35-0. Yeah it's Kansas but we all know that somehow Texas would make Kansas look like the 04 USC Trojans. Chawlie still hasn't been fired so the university clearly does not care about winning. Maybe they will learn when Iowa freakin State comes to town and torches that defense tonight.
  22. Teams can't really beat us on the edges. Have to resort to running it straight up the middle, and it's working. It's actually been a trend since the 2014 season IMO. I'm not sure why alot of us are just now seeing it but we've had trouble stopping spread teams from running up the middle since 2014 for some reason.
  23. I bet all of our beefy runners would do better than our current LB's. Bush, White and Anderson would be knocking heads but this program has too many players for us to be playing players both way. Remember White was knocking heads a times at LB last season before he got moved back to offense. Anderson played some LB in the past...alongside sophomore Writt who resembles him in size and is currently killing it on JV. Wonder what TE Mauldin would do at LB. Hmm...we already use him as a rusher on defense at times.
  24. Nah. Yall have all of those returning starters, remember?
