  1. Thanks man.. That means a lot.. And yeah we still have some work to do.. lol
  2. The hogs were caught right by my house.. Rooting around my pond when the dry spell caused it to drop a few feet.
  3. Here are two other deer taken in Nacogdoches County. The first is a 140's class 8 pt. and the other is a 9 point that probably scores a little more than 135.
  4. Killed these deer in Nacogdoches county.. The spike was on opening morning of youth season and the buck was taken on opening morning of general season. The buck was a big bodied 8 pt. that scores around 125. What do yall think about him? I will post some pics of a couple other deer killed this year around where I live.
  5. This isn't what you want Rusty Nix. lol
  6. Steel Trap... And Sure.. You having a problem with some?
  7. Well.... Heres one more to add to the books.. Caught him December 12, 09 but didnt post any pics until i was sure about the laws on trapping. This made three foxes and my first beaver to catch.... My friend and I caught the beaver on January 5, 2010.
  8. Thanks...... Might have to give that a try.
  9. Great.... Glad I could help. Hope you get something. If you have a live trap big enough to catch a coon, you can more than likely catch a fox in it. The red fox I have pictures of was caught in a coon trap, just a really long one. If you are interested in getting a large live trap I recommend Canton Cage Works. If you ever are at Canton you might want to look into it. The old man who builds the traps will give you an excellent deal on them.
  10. Called him back Today to see if he would work with me on the prices and he told me he wasn't even tanning hides out right now because of the number of deer head mounts he had.
  11. Yeah I believe most of them do. If Lee Richards is the owner of the place across from CH school I have already called him. The price he gave me wasn't quite what I would like it to be, so I plan out getting a few more prices before choosing any one.
  12. I bait my live traps with hog cracklins when I am trying to catch foxes. You can buy them pretty cheap and so far they have worked pretty well. If you want to catch raccoons bait them with sardines. A live chicken in a bait box behind the trap works best for catching bobcats. Does that help any?
  13. Ten days after catching the first fox that i posted pictures of on Thanksgiving I caught another one, but a Red Fox this time. If anyone knows of a taxidermist around Nacogdoches County who would give me a reasonable price to tan this one and the previous gray fox out please let me know.
  14. If I lived within an hour or so away from one of these people this list would sure help me out. Thanks Anyways Though
