Kind of yea. I would love to spotlight a game or rivalry that's intense or popular or long-running or some game that has a different 'nitch' to it, like playing for a giant jug of honey or the mayor's bet on the outcome each year; stuff like that. I know there's a lot of good ones out there, but I can't report on it if I don't know about it.

Don't know if we've hit JT before. I haven't done JT but 'we' may have; RR did these DQ games the first few years and then I took over. We have done Tyler Lee (v Lufkin last year).

We just did Longview v Marshall THIS YEAR a few weeks ago! Don't tell me you weren't watching? We've also done Tatum v Gilmer - 3 years ago, great game, a TON of D-1 athletes on the field - great coaches to work with as well. We also did Kilgore (against Jacksonville in that GREAT stadium) a few years ago too. That's cool, it looks like we're already doing a good job making sure we hit the biggies in East Texas, however I can't do ANYTHING about Ric Renner. He's a good dude, just a tad.. um.. 'loud'. We love comin' out to East Texas, although I think that shows. We're out there at least once and usually twice a year for DQ games. Thanks and please keep the suggestions coming (for games, not what to do with Renner)!

We need your input. What's the best high school football rivalry? What match-up NEEDS to be shown statewide? Which schools absolutely can't STAND each other? We're already putting together our initial list for our 2010 Season of the 'DQ BIG GAME OF THE WEEK' for Fox Sports Southwest and we don't want to miss any good match-ups.
