Wow, I thought there was some smack talking going on on these forums. Apparently Denison still hasn't been tested yet. In fact, I think that if Texas had not beaten Nebraska that its quite possible that Aledo would have leapfroged TCU and Cincy both to take on Alabama for the national title. Apparently... from what I've read mind you... they are just that good. :notworthy:

Can someone tell me if the SS quarterback is a senior or will he be back? Very impressive kid. Did a good job of hitting the creases that were there and very slippery in the open field. He used a very good spin move several times to avoid tackles.

Doubtful, but even so its your complete lack of maturity that leads credence to my point. I stand by my point that the game was not out of hand, unlike passing with a four touchdown lead as SS has been called out on. Calling out one player for an obscenity on the football field... are you serious? I guarantee you the majority of them have let an F bomb or two slip out in the heat of battle. Of course its ok in your eyes if one of your players does it. I just don't appreciate your trying to derail this thread with that type of rubbish.

You know... I was half right before the game. I questioned what the reactions would be from WildcatsRule and wildtigers. Well, WildcatsRule proved himself and has been very gracious. But look what we have here. Let me explain it to you. Scoring with a two touchdown lead is not running up the score. SS still had timeouts. Lets say we kneel on it and punt. A quick score is very possible. Happened many times in the game. While its hard to do, an onsides kick could be recovered and SS is driving to tie. Speak a little louder about lack of class, please.

I think this board mainly caters to east Texas football. That being said, I'm glad someone started this so we have a place to talk about it. I'm looking forward to the game. Denison's offense has really become a force. They can be a real handful for teams to try and contain.

I also wanted to say I was impressed with both schools ability to put fans in the stands. Good crowd today... er yesterday I guess it is now.

Yeah, you're right. It just made my head hurt. Anyone else have any parking advice for the game? So far it sounds pretty bad. I have no idea where to go.

Come on jacketdad... surely you're not saying we must all have son's playing to "truly have a dog in the fight". I don't have a son playing football for Denison, but I've bled black and gold my entire life. Besides, I've watched alot of these boys that are playing grow up. I'm proud of all of our boys. I do agree on the stay healthy part.

Yeah... they did. I think Beast21 and wildtigers should just start their own private thread. This one would be much cleaner and theirs would be of great entertainment value. :woohoo:

I admit I really hope not. I'd really like to see my hometown team continue on. If they win again I won't even care that you'll be hiding on another thread somewhere. Probably one titled "The refs were mean to us!"
