Wow! From what I saw in the Everman game they shouldn't come close to scoring that much against Denison!

KTXA - TV 21 Dallas Tx. Has a high school football game of the week. Last night it was the Everman / Aledo game. Looks like they do a 5A game Friday night and then a 4A game on Saturday night. Go Jacket's !!

Surprised nobody started this yet, so let's go! I watched the Everman Vs. Aledo game late last night on TV. I just don't see the fire power in Aledo that I see in Denison. The only weapon that impressed me from Aledo was the running back. Denison will need to contain him. I know both teams will be playing hard but I think Denison wins this one big!

Unless you have video and audio of this, I don't believe a word of it!

Running up the score!? Are you kidding me!? I hardly call a 14 point win running up the score! You guys have a great football team and had a great season. Don't ruin it by talking this kind of mess!

I was thinking of doing the same thing. I believe the train will let you off at Central and Mockingbird and the stadium is right there. Not a bad way to go in my opinion. You will also have to jump from the blue line train to the red line train somewhere along the way. Safe travels!

I went to the game last year at SMU between Denison and Royse City. Parking was horrible! Parked in some garage north of the stadium for five bucks and had to walk 3/4 mile to get the stadium! I'm sure there will be twice as many people there this year, so get ready, and get there early! Go Jackets!

Okay, I am confused? Is SS a good passing team or not? Some are saying they are and some are saying they are not? Others say they are balanced. I guess it is who you talk to and opinions differ from one person to another. I would also like to know how Denison's interceptions against Marshall were "gifts given to them in the fourth quarter?" The way I saw it from the stands was, "they earned it!" Marshall was giving nothing away in that game!

My goodness! We do get touchy when it comes to our high school football. I can't believe SS has a poster that is predicting an SS win 36 to 14? I also can't believe that the line on the game is Denison by 17? Then again,,,it could happen either way! It appears that two teams have apparently "stepped it up a notch" from earlier games in the season. Both teams beat a Frisco team by only a few. I don't think anybody is indicating that SS should just lay down and get beat because Denison is a better team (just leave Beast21 out of this discussion). These are two very talented teams or they would not be in the fourth round of the playoffs. Denison fans know all to well how SS can play ball. I am looking forward to a very good, hard fought, football game! Now, I am going to let my high school colors fly a little bit. Denison did start the season a little slow and had a frustrating loss in Big Spring. Then they picked it up and rolled through the rest of the regular season. When the playoffs hit I think they stepped it up again. They put up 50 + points in first two playoff games then put 35 on Marshall (which was no easy task)! Defense, meanwhile, held their own. Marshall tested our defense very well and had them on their heels in the first half. But, Denison came back and had a 4th down stop and two interceptions to seal the deal! Marshall had some of the biggest young men I believe I have ever seen in high school ball! But, Denison was able to handle them in the long run. I do not know the status of the injured Denison players from the Marshall game. I think there are two players that appeared to have serious enough injuries that could cause them to sit out. Other than that they should field a healthy team. Denison also needs to get the "revenge" factor out of their head. If they come in too emotional, it will hurt them. So, with all that said, if Denison sticks to their game plan and plays with the heart they did in the Marshall game, then I believe Denison wins in a close game with a score similar to the Marshall game.

Now come on Mavsgrad! We listened to you all week about Denison fans having to eat crow when the Mavs beat the Jackets! Well,,,,that did not happen, so it is now time for you to eat a little crow! If you cannot take it then don't post it! Now, the Mavs played one heck of a first half and I thought the game was over. However, there are two halfs to a game and the Jackets took over in the second half! Late in the game they forced the Mavs into a passing game in which they are weak and threw two interceptions. Denison defense answered the call! This was a tough, hard hitting, football game. The Mavs are a good team and should be proud of what they accomplished, but, give credit where credit is due! Go Jackets!
