The last post got a little out of hand. Anyone know who got called back? Heard 5 were going to interview with a committee today. I have heard 2 of the 8 dropped out. Someone has to know or has heard if anyone got a call about a committee interview.

They do have some kids. Look at the 19-A all-district picks. how does an 0-fer team get A kid on 1st team? They must have been pretty impressive kids. Overcoming the indecision is the first hurdle. From the outside looking in, it seems they are not sure how to go about this. The last thing Waskom needs is a football team in limbo. Losing time right now.

I have heard the same thing. Gonna have it narrowed this week. Also heard they were going to interview with a committee this week. Also heard they were going to interview with the board in January. Also heard the Supt. was going to reccommend one to the board. It has changed several times from what I heard. No one has gotten a call except the interviewees to my knowledge and even they have not been called back. Will be interesting to see who finally lands there.

I think D'field gets another ring this year. Very solid team.

I think Longview will make this years championship game much more interesting. LT is very good again but the Lobos have seen it now and will be very prepared. It will be a great game no matter what. Not that I should be predicting who will be there but, I think that is who it will be.

I wondered if it was Coach E. I was on a team that played against one he coached. That was years ago. I know he is very schooled on both sides of the ball. I just know who he is through some guys I coached with. From what they say, he would be a great hire for Waskom. Not sure you guys know this but talk about a basketball coach's dream.....An AD/Head Football coach that played college basketball? Dogs and cats sleeping together, mass chaos and hell has frozen over.

I just got it off another site. TOC has something about it. I have a friend that applied but he has heard nothing.

Wow!!!! No help? I guess no one has anything at stake in this one. Has anyone heard anything at all?

It is my understanding that WISD has found the guy they want to hire. It is a college coach from East Texas with a "great" high school background. I got this off another board. Can anyone confirm this. I have a buddy who applied but hasn't heard anything back. Thanks for the help.
