  8. to all the seniors out there that were deserving and left off. just remember the good times you had with your teamates and friends and good luck to those moving on to the next level.
  9. i was suprised by some of the pics for district 18 as well. all well deserving kids tho. berry from w.o. had the #'s so debate there regardless of who & when he pitched. mccurdy & smith from w.o. were no suprise as well as lloyd from harleton. theyre automatic shoe-ins. its not always how well you play during the playoffs. several kids from harmony & white oak that got left off. congrats to all
  10. :notworthy:  congrats on a great season
  11. state honors should be out next week
  12. i have to agree. look for new waverly to face central hieghts in regional final next year. will give the pitching edge to new waverly and the hitting edge to central hieghts. sleepers could include danbury, comfort, harmony & holliday. plenty of returning starters from this year
  13. juice is a great kid and could be "truely" great in a few years under the right college program. hes a great pitcher who hasnt even hit his true potential yet. when he does he will be lights out
  14. i would have to say hit if he was gona be safe anyway.
  15. hey zippy , its real. hes going on an acedimic scholorship because he recieved more $ that way. he's walking on but he's ben given a roster spot. will prob red shirt first year but its true. so i also guess thats since new waverly had a few hits on juice so he cant go to baylor , then i guess roberts goin to texas must be a real joke because he got hammered by w.o.???? every pitcher is intitled to a bad game or so. maybe its not that juice doesnt pitch well but maybe new waverly had some good hitters.
  16. U.I.L. Baseball State Tournament Wednesday, June 9th: @ Disch-Falk Field, UT-Austin Class 2-A Semifinals 10:00am, White Oak vs. Rogers 1:00pm, Brock vs. Bushland
  17. no , i think they believed they could win with juice. he's been pretty hot lately on the mound. couple of no-no's/shut outs last couple of outings
  18. white oak 3 new waverly 2 white oak advances to state
  19. im sure he's hanging out with waldo about now
  20. the winner of w.o./ n.w. game should play bushland so look for w.o / n.w. to play for the state title. good luck today to both teams
  21. looks like the new waverly coach got his wish afterwards
  22. all i hear is alot about in this thread is respect me , respect you. respect is earned, not given. when you have 2 teams that are this good, theyve both earned it!. win or lose , both teams had a heck of a season and i think both teams know the state winner will come out of this region
  23. like you said, when emotions are in check...beattie lets his emotions control him, not the game...beattie is a great pitcher but what jones brings to the table is raw talent, when emotion are running high he stays composed and lets his arm do the talking
