I think you might be a little off, I went back and double checked the standings. Right now: JT - 1 loss Lindale - 2 losses, 1 tie Athens - 3 losses Whitehouse - 4 losses Given this, here are the scenarios: Athens win/JT win (which would also be the same as an Athens win/Lindale win) 1. JT 2. Athens 3. Lindale 4. Whitehouse Whitehouse win/JT win (same as Whitehouse win/Lindale win) 1. JT 2. Lindale 3. Whitehouse 4. Athens No matter how you look at it, JT wins district no matter the outcome of the Whitehouse/Athens game or the Lindale/JT game. If Whitehouse wins, the JT/Lindale game will not matter as they will be 1 and 2. If Athens wins it will make the JT/Lindale game much more interesting.

For the record, the coach you are referring to is former Whitehouse boys soccer and cross country coach John Absalom. He did not even coach football at the time of him leaving Whitehouse, get your facts straight. But back to the topic, Bullard has been a much improved team this year on both sides of the ball. The Lindale vs. Marshall game was played in Whitehouse, not Kilgore. Also, Marshall is in Kilgore's district so I would expect Kilgore to root for Marshall. You are comparing apples and oranges with the Kilgore vs. Red Oak in Lindale game and the Lindale vs. Marshall in Whitehouse game.
