The Atlanta quarterback #3 Jeremy Smith who left the game with an arm injury, how is he doing today? It looked like he was hurting. -

I took this in the first game of the season. #5 DeMarco Boyd breaks away from the Liberty Eylau Leopards. -

This season has tested the Buckeyes more than last season. The only real tests they faced last season were Tatum in non district, Gladewater in the third round game, and West Orange Stark in the Title game. This season they should be more battle tested. This should give them the edge needed to advance. That being said. Atlanta can not be overlooked. That attitude can get you in trouble fast, really fast. -

This could be an interesting game. It will be the second 4th round meeting in a row for the Buckeyes, and the Rabbits. Lobo stadium would be a better venue, but Waskom is plaing West Rusk there that night. The Rabbits are always a threat, but Coach Turner should have the Buckeyes ready to play. We have played a Jeykll, and Hyde season in the play-offs so far. Gilmer will need to be consistent, and eliminate the mistakes to beat Atlanta. Making Atlanta play our game will force them to pass more that they would like to. I am looking forward to this match up. -

On paper it looks like it will be a very even game. Add in the weather, and all bets are off. If the Buckeyes can play the same game they played against Mexia, they will have the advantage. Playing Center the way they played Pleasant Grove, and they can loose. Gilmer needs to play focused, and error free. Any mistake will be costly. I have not watched Center play since 2006, any team playing into the third round has to be good. Weather aside, it should be a good game.

Gilmer will be the home team.

I believe that I stated that thought in my post. This is what I posted. You can't judge a third round play-off game by regular season games at least four or five years ago.

I have only watched Center in one game. Gilmer played them in two non district games in back to back years. First in Gilmer, then in Center. The Buckeyes won both games easily. You can't judge a third round play-off game by regular season games at least four or five years ago. Yes the Rough Riders are coached by Coach Bowman, the coach that led Daingerfield to three straight state championships. In those three seasons Daingerfield only lost three games, all to Gilmer. This should be a very good game for both teams, and Rose Stadium is the perfect place for it to be played. Good luck to both teams, I am looking forward to an injury free game. Bring home another trophy Buckeyes!!!!!!
