Dont have any idea what kind of team MP has this year, but i do know Coach Wilson has Terrell much improved. i wouldnt overlook them. They may be a year away from good, but their soph class is extremely athletic.

Congrats to Coach Oliver. I am proud to have gotten to coach against the "legend" but even more proud to call him friend. Great coach and great man. do that math folks.. thats averaging almost 24 wins per year as a head coach. a lot of good coaches never get 24 in any year in their career.

5) His dad was ####... not at the refs... at his son. He knows better. He's taught him to be better than that. good. then glad to know that wasn't his dad after the game making a butt out of himself to the officials walking in their dressing room. Somebody did though!!

John McClure has been the varsity asst/3rd base coach there for several years. McClure was the head coach at Lamar Consolidated in the Houston area prior to moving back closer to home. He is a very good baseball coach and more importantly a good man. Texas High Baseball is in good hands for many years to come.

from my perspective, playing homecoming game is rarely an advantage. usually too many distractions for the players and lack of focus can be a factor. glad to see one of my all time favorites getting it turned around in elkhart.

" same thing in 15-4a if forney loses and terrell loses by 7,8, or 9 forney is in and terrell is out.. if forney loses and terrell loses by 10 or more then terrell is in forney is out!! stupid huh??? so if terrell is in last minutes of game down by 9 and they find out forney got beat by red oak.. do they take a safety or allow lancaster to score????

Cant disagree with you there. I ilke Cardenas and again i think this has the POTENTIAL to be a great place. Lots of promises have been broken for many years there with the Admin and other involved. Improvements to the City Field will help... IF done right... IM rooting for it!!! BUT>>>>>> An On-Campus field would still be nice!!!!!!!

sfa could be a cream of the crop baseball program, in my opinion. IF the admin was suppotive. they made lots of promises when they brought back the program that they are now crawfishing on. AGAIN!!!!! i was recruited there in 1991 and was told there would be a new field on campus in a year. 17 years later and still no field!!!!! with the talent readily available in the area, the great school there, the location, atmosphere, etc ... this should be a great place to go play D1 baseball. the past couple of years they have fielded a very competive club, but the recruits will again begin to shy away if the admin doesnt make it RIGHT!!! im not sure if the new city lease agreement makes it right. I saw a quote by the AD about making it a quality "up to par" facility. 750 seat bleachers? im not sure that exactly does it !!! mabe im wrong maybe these improvements to jacee field will be nice!!!!
