Not a single Carlisle player on any of the lists but at least 3 made it with NO stats🤔🤔

    Fear,

I'm glad you made your comment because have you ever wondered how that happens Fear? How about I contacted every single coach and I was told several times I'd get something from Carlisle...and guess what, I'm still waiting. And, for fact, I received a note from Carlisle on 12/26/23 that I would receive the nominations. I'm still waiting.

    That is all...

I enjoy the process of selecting a team, but it is very time-consuming and a difficult project. I check, double-check, and triple-check with numerous coaches throughout the coverage area. I know not everyone will agree with the selections, but believe me it's not easy.

IF a player isn't include on any of the teams, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Team or Honorable Mention it means they weren't nominated by a coach. Meanwhile, I actually search for some of the nominations if we don't receive anything from a school.

    Feedback is welcome.

I hope we can publish the All-East Texas Team by Monday, February 5th.

Wanted to make sure this young man made the list.  Career day for most kickers, but he has been doing it all year.  Amazing stats.

Very unfortunate Winnsboro didn't nominate him because that's awesome. FYI, I did receive nomination for Mart kicker who is now the all-time state leader for XP's and nearig the national record. Thank you for sharing.

Wow...QB Bryce Still 31-52 passing for 429 yards and 3 TDs and didn't make the list...hmmm

Because he wasn't nominated by anyone and ask any coach, ANY OF THEM and I sent email, text messages consistently throughout the weekend. This thread is up every Thursday afternoon for the weekend, and maybe you only commented on this thread to complain rather than ask why not? Hmmmm, maybe you could have nominated him too?

FYI, his single game stats thru last weekend are now updated on this page that you may or may not know about. I'll update the season and career stats after receiving all of the All-Smoaky.com nominations.
