People recoginze how good they are, but do not respect them, simple as that. They havent won a playoff game in 6 years, they run the same offense with the same plays every year, and they always over sell and under produce. People arent scared of LE, and they arent scared to play them.

The 09 Texas High team was really good, but so was the '05 Carthage team. The '07 Carthage might have been the best team in the last 10 years. Rollins, Tate, Barker, etc

Well, With all do respect I'm not going to change my opinion of him just because your on the board. I never dogged him as a kid, I've never meet him. I'm sure he's a great kid who believes in all that blah blah that you talked about above. BUT, He's flat out not very good. He was a very good high school pitcher who pitched in a terrible 1A conference and took advantage of it. Had some arm problems, which I never like to hear of, and also got to see some college hitters and realized what real baseball is. It's called reality, not jealously. I'm not jealous of someone who did less then what I accomplished in my career. I hope he's a smart kid, because its time to focus on a profession. And honestly, I could care less where you live. I'm sure your never there anyway. Your most likely in Mt Pleasant everyday lying to your kid telling him how good he is.

Theres one thing about this post that are completely true, you were just off by one word, instead of "for, it should have read "without".. "The program does not exist without Barry Norton".. Without him there would be no state championship, not all of the district championships, no indoor, no Mallett, no Sorenson, not all of the Arkansas High victories, etc.. So in my opinion, if Barry wants to start his son, who may or may not be the better QB in the program, then fine by me. Barry has done everything for that school and community and has done it with class, respect, and the right way. The Tigers werent going to win the State Championship or the District Championship this year, so why does it matter who played QB? The best two QB's in the system arent even playing football, so how in the world can you complain about Clete starting over Hunter? The season was going no where in a hurry, we ALL knew it. No team in Texarkana besides THS even made the playoffs, so apparently something went right! Barry earned the right to start WHOEVER he wanted to at QB IMO.. Im going to assume theres not a greater feeling in the world then being a High School HC and watching your son be the starting QB. Barrys got my respect and backing on any decision that he makes, because he's made about 1,000 of them right in the last 10 years. You wont Barry out, when hes the one made the progarm what it is, and dont dare for one second tell me thats not the truth!!!!!!! And I am going to say this for the last time. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FAIR IN SPORTS, OR FOR THE REAL WORLD EITHER. Theres no way to be fair to everyone, especially 55 players on a football team, it just cant and wont happen. Sure theres coaches who like players more then others. Thats exactly how life works. Do me a favor and ask your boss Monday who is favorite employee is, because I know your not a boss yourself. Boss' understand that life isnt fair, and they always have their "go to guys". Im done, enjoy basketball
