SS Freshmen and JV win at Sam Parker last night.

Pretty sure who the top 4 will be this year... SS coaches will finally be able to enjoy deer season for the first time in a long time. Maybe MP coaches can hook them up since they haven't missed one in years:-) All joking aside this should be a good game to watch. Hoping the kids on both sides play with all the heart and emotion worthy of this old rivalry.

Battle for the bottom actually makes this an interesting match up. SS has 0 secondary and MP has 0 passing game. Should know the outcome pretty early in the evening. SS by a little.

Wonder why MP didnt at least try to get the ball to #9 more often. I mean is ya have a stud reciever use him. MP didnt seem to have the heart to win this one from the get go. I just dont know.

Yes and leave your pocket knife in the truck. Last time I was there they were using metal detectors at the gate. I think that was the MP v Thigh game last year.

After talking to some SS players I think fired up and ready is a huge understatement. Gonna be a good game.

No idea how this one is going to go. The Atlanta game was a shocker. If these teams had met 3 weeks ago I would say MP. Now not so sure.

What's going on?

I watched Tenaha 12 and under football last week at the Piney Woods Classic. That town has some good players coming up. So does Mount Pleasant and Daingerfield. MP had 2 teams competing for the championship. Should have some great teams for years to come based on what I've seen.

That was worth the price of admission. Time for a road trip Tiger Nation. NB is a great team. Worthy opponent to say the least. Could have been anybody's game at anytime.
