  1. HS grounds this one out. They are a bit better than anyone Hooks has played. Twenty point win.
  2. Lone Oak wins big. Chisum has won their last game this season.
  3. la la land lol. kerens is 2 divisions below mtown and scurry/ewood are smaller as well. decent teams for their size ...yea ok. like i said malakoff win.
  4. True fluke. Clarksville should win but will they clean up the mistakes in the process?
  5. No disrespect to Malakoff, but what good team has Malakoff beaten thus far this season reciever18? Understand this, I believe Mtown will win big tonight but the question still stands.
  6. I disagree. Mart is on another level than anyone in this district. If anyone meets up with them in the playoffs from this district, season over with a lopsided loss most likely. It may be round two or round three but who really cares about advancing one round further if you were the district champion? In the end, give me the gold ball. So what if you played one more week in the playoffs only because you had an easier route.
  7. Yes, and also do not forget that MANY teams could be 4-0 with Cushings schedule.
  8. Chisum has not played a team with the speed of Hooks. Chisum will throw, throw, throw and throw some more. Defensively....well, they say speed kills.
  9. Cushing plays Beckville their sixth game, correct? Objectively have to figure, looking at the teams each school has played, no school record. Good luck though and I hope you prove me wrong.
  10. Wolfe City outcome impressive. I don't believe Mildred is very good this year.
  11. It is amazing to me the number of people who pay no attention whatsoever to strength of schedule.
  12. Kerens is a good 2A-I school. They are not Malakoff. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Daingerfield is probably a better team than Kerens.
  13. Great job. Obviously somebody is doing something correct. I will hold off judgement on just how great anyone is until after they finish the district schedule.
  14. Westcoast, the talent level at Rivercrest now does not compare to what was at The Swamp when Cross was there. The current coach was at Detroit at that time. Detroit played Rivercrest. Final score Rivercrest 13 Detroit 12. It was suppose to be a blowout. I know the current head coach at Rivercrest and the defensive coordinator are both excellent coaches. So...........
  15. Not seeing Kerens being able to hang with Malakoff. I'm sure Kerens is solid in their division but they are two divisions smaller than Malakoff.
  16. Hudl is how and why you can send film so easily too so many folks.
  17. Clarksville suited out 22 Friday night. Eight or nine of them started both ways and some then marched at half time. They got tired. They also scrimmaged PP. PP and HS are so similar. If Arp can handle the straight ahead attack from the fullback, HS could be in trouble.
  18. Sounds about right. HS has twice as many students in the hs as Cv does so makes sense they have twice as many out for football.
  19. Clarksville has a JV? Saw on here where Hughes Springs has 80 out for football and Clarksville has 35. So, I guess the field will be tilted towards HSHS...lol.
  20. BIG difference in those week one opponent's is Hughes Springs. Although, it will be interesting to see how Boles fares against a school two divisions larger and picked as a playoff team. Rivercrest playing up as well while HG playing smaller school in Fruitvale. Good luck to all and may your kids stay healthy!
