  1. Haha. Still here. We gotta take the bad with the good right!?
  2. I'm here from Yuga and guilty as charged with the crow eating. lol
  3. Pulling for Malakoff in this one. By the sound of it I don't need to be pulling to hard, just hope they stay focused and overlook no team.
  4. Thanks Kat. That's about as balanced as they come. This should be a good game. Good luck to both teams and hopefully we will have a hard hitting injury free night. Go Wildcats... lol... The Black and Gold ones. haha
  5. Sounds to me that Mt. Enterprise is gonna be a contender this year in the post season. Cayuga got a bit of a wake up call last week and I think that this will be a good one to watch if Cayuga comes out fired up. If we get out to a flat start it could be a long night. I have faith in the Yuga boys. My prediction is going one way or the other... Either Yuga wins by a TD in an offensive shootout, or Mt. Enterprise wins in a blow out. I don't think either team has a stellar defense as of yet. How did Cushing manage to put up like 30 points on Mt. Enterprise? I have heard they are (cushing) is stronger this year than in the past. Did they put those points up on the ground? In the air?
  6. Well who knows what the season holds! Cayuga got off to a rough start in week 0 against Overton, who came out ready to play. However, I feel like Cayuga has a lot more potential than the score board showed when the last whistle blew on Friday night. The kids played hard and they will be fine this year. Mt. Enterprise got to throw a check mark in the win column last week against Cushing, but I know no nothing about them. I would like to know more! They run? They pass? They had 33 points points put up on them by Cushing... How did that happen? Well, its an 0-1 team paired up with a 1-0. Round and round we go, where we'll stop nobody knows! What do you think?
  7. I'm a yuga homer. Bottom line. Overton came out to play Friday and executed the game plan. They keep it up and they will do fine. Cayuga will do better as well. We started to look a bit defeated after that 2nd and then 3rd TD got called back. Either way, you win some and you lose some. Even if you tacked those 2 back up it was closer but Overton still took it. Congrats to Overton, and keep your chins up Yuga. Get back into it this week!
  8. Cayuga will have about 45 to 50 this year. Another year of improvement in numbers and quality!
  9. Not gonna lie. Great post! That was pretty awesome!
  10. Says he with 3 mediocre posts. I will spot C'ville 6. But that is all. Either way Mart :bangin: HAMMERS :bangin: C'ville. I just hope no one from either team gets hurt!
  11. Mart takes this one. I would like to see C'ville score, but I am thinking it prolly won't happen. The way I see it it is like this... Cayuga was forced to learn how to be more physical when they played Mart; cuz if you're not, you are gonnat get your block knocked off. I felt like there were plenty of times when Cayuga was layin the wood on C'ville Thursday and we do not even compare to Mart's physicality. Anything can happen, but I still got Mart like "World beaters!". Also my pick for State Champs 2010!
  12. Being quite cordial about it. I HOPE you are wrong. Haha. It all begins tonight. I will make my last post on this thread like so... If Cayuga wins tonight (being a little bigger and more physical team than Clarksville IMO) and plays Mart it will most likely be a tough loss and earlier start to basketball season for Cayuga. Who currently sits in the top 5 in a couple of polls for the roundball. Hopefully they will come out injury free should that be the case. If Clarksville wins tonight (being a smaller and, some would say, less physical team than Cayuga IMO) and plays Mart it will most likely be a tough loss for them and a week later start in B-ball than Cayuga. They are currently ranked ahead of Yuga in most if not all polls. Mart is a scrappy, tough, gonna tear your head off and spit down your throat team. I think Clarksville might end up with some key injuries should they make it through Yuga, and those injuries could hurt their B-ball team. Only time will tell. I wish the best for all teams on a safe game this week and may the best teams win. GO DISTRICT 8 1-A! GO WILDCATS!
  13. YES! I love this post. A lot of people think that this district has little to offer outside of Mart (the rightfully have a plethora of supporters, including myself). I would not be surprised to see all three of these teams knocking each other out of the playoffs in this region. Just my 2 cents.
  14. I am so ready for some basketball season! I keep hearing a lot about the C'ville and Cayuga B-Ball teams. I can't wait to see it. Who ever gets knocked out this week in football gets a week of practice towards the hardwood match-up. Will definately be a very bitter sweet loss. from the coaches perspective. Not to mention neither of these teams wants to lose in any sports match up.
