  1. Private school parents have to pay taxes just like public school taxes. Private school parents are paying for uniforms, jock straps, electric bills to light up the football field, etc, just like public school parents are. I don't see why they aren't allowed to have their kids play in a league that they are paying into. Public schools are just as guilty of "recruiting." When I was in high school, our AD/HC 'adopted' a student who just happened to be a football stud. This kid lived about 100 yards in another county and therefore would have had to play for another school close by. But he 'lived' with the AD so he could attend our school. As soon as he graduated, he left the AD's house.
  2. Most NFL stadiums being built are enclosed so it doesn't matter what way they run.

I checked your link out. It states that there can not be more than 30 grams of sugar per 8 oz. A regular coke has 39 grams per 8 oz. So therefore you should never see a coke in a machine on a campus. I'm sure that most of the other drinks have more than 30 grams of sugar as well.

Well then in that case that district is breaking the law. You should report them.

7 years ago they were in school drink machines? In 2003 the state passed a law to band schools from selling anything besides water and juice. Sounds like you haven't even been to a school in a while!
  6. Maybe if some of the other teams had local pros the streak would have already ended. Hopefully T-High doesn't get caught up in the mess that New Braunfels got into.
  7. Most small schools dont have a track....
  8. Overton's is worse even though it is "new"

  10. Just like UIL does not regulate Team Tennis below 4A..... 3A Soccer plays up a class and there are a lot of 3A teams in the 4A Alignment. More thn likely, within the next few years UIL will create 3A alignments and 2A and 1A will all play at that level.
  11. Guess you don't keep up with the news. A lot of 1A-2A schools are adding soccer. We have a school that just won a championship in football that added the sport not long ago.
  12. Wasn't he the one that was arguing with a "daddy coach" over the fence during a football game?? I think he wrote his own way out....
  13. Looks like the answer to your question would be the board members who did not extend the contract of their faithful leader.
