Looking at SS scores from this year, the offense looks to be very good. But I believe Hallsville's defense can hold them under 30. The new Defensive Coordinator for Hallsville has done a great job this year and the players have been getting better each week. If Hallsville's defense comes out and plays against SS like they did against Nac and PT the past 2 weeks then I think Hallsville will get the W.

"Not so fast!" How did you come up with this score? Only 1 team in distict play scored over 35 points against Hallsville's defense. That team was John Tyler (14-4A District Champs) scoring 65. Hallsville's defense allowed an average of 29 points this year in district play. Not a beautiful number, but they don't straight up ####. I haven't seen SS play, is there offense about as good as John Tyler's?

This outcome is very possible. All 3 of these games are going to be great games, but I have a feeling things will fall right for Hallsville.

Pine Tree beat JT? Hahahaha! Great example.. That would never happen, but good try. Maybe you need to attend this coaches meeting or talk to this Kilgore coach, because you haven't been happy the past 2 years about this whole tournament thing. The coaches decided after last year that if a team goes undefeated during the season then they will have a free ticket to the regional tournament because of what happened in the disrict tournament last year between Hallsville and Kilgore.. Did Kilgore go undefeated this year? No! So why do you think they should get the same deal as Hallsville? And I do know what I'm talking about, I have my connections.. Trust me!

You can't ever trust the scores on those shows, or on the radio after a night of Friday night football. People just don't know how to call in the correct score.

Someone must have reported the score too early.. Hallsville kicked the game winning field goal with 0.0 seconds left on the clock to win by 2. There was a face mask penalty against Jville when the clock ran out and you can't end a game on a defensive penalty. Someone who left the game after Hallsville's fumble with a little over a minute on the clock in the 4th quarter must have called it in then. Some fans just don't realize when you have a little over a minute on the clock with 3 timeouts left you can still get the ball back and have a chance at winning the game. Congrats to JT on the win tonight over Marshall.

It was clearly a facemask, the Hallsville player was slung to the ground, not tackled. Plus, Hallsville should've had it won when Jacksonville fumbled on the last TD play, Hallsville player clearly stripped the ball. (and yes, I saw that one on film seconds after the play and it was a fumble.)

Game isnt over when you turnover the ball with over a minute left on the clock, and have 3 time-outs to use. Hallsville didnt give up! Wish you could've seen it. One of the best games ever in the history of Hallsville.
