Tenaha comes to Lovelady this Friday and I guess we will see what kind of team we have. From what I’ve seen, Lovelady will have their hands full and then some. I’ve enjoyed the back and forth with Greezy over the past few years, maybe I’ll get a chance to meet him this week. Let’s hear it guys. Does Lovelady have a chance of making a game out of this one?

We played well but Groveton isn’t very good. Football is about match ups and Groveton didn’t match up well with our skill guys. Our passing game was there whenever we wanted to sling it. The thing that was a little surprising to me is that we really held our own against their big OL. Nice start to the season but we have a long way to go.

I like to give my score predictions so you guys see how much I really DON’T know . So here it goes. Our O/L is still a work in progress right now so I think we will struggle at times on offense. I think Groveton will control the clock running the football behind that Big OL more that I’d like. So I see it being a close game for 3 quarters with Lovelady pulling away slightly late in the game. 34-20 LIONS
