The Cowboys defense was absolutely atrocious today. I thought the Browns looked bad yesterday.....until today. A Cowboys/Browns tilt might set some NFL playoff game records for worst defensive games in playoff history.

He's part of the curse "package deal"......Lol.

There is a very simple explanation for the demise of the Cowboys......they are cursed!! And not by happenstance.

I think it's been longer than that.......maybe 27 yrs???

All the talking heads seem to be a little speechless about the way this game has transpired. It's downright YUGLY!!

IF you are a Cowboys diehard and in the stadium.....the only reason not to leave is the weather outside. But you have to get out sooner or later......may as well leave now while it's still not totally dark.

I'm very happy we had the chance to see both games come down to the last seconds, and even OT in one of them. It was a very good set of playoff games today.

I would be somewhat surprised if Washington gets by Michigan......just my opinion after watching both games today. I think the Michigan offense and defense will present difficulties to keep Washington's scoring low.

So does 8 million people in the Metroplex.....and even more north of that. But the vast majority of those aren't Sooner Fans.

Since you love Oklahoma so much......then why don't you just move there to be amongst them?

The team that made the least mistakes won this one......it was very obvious. Both teams played great and one had to lose. This time it was Washington's time to win......although it just as easily could have been Texas stealing the win in the end. My impression of Ewers in this game was that he played a very clean game and performed admirably considering all of the roadblocks he had to overcome. Penix played at a very high level and was the difference for Washington.

The Horns D needs another stop......they have been on the field most of this half. Washington is controlling TOP by a large margin.

They spread out the defense and then get their key blocks on the short throws for 10 yd gains.

The LOS penalties by the Horns at this juncture in the season are pretty much killers and unforgiveable. It's tough enough without those putting you behind.

Texas will need to open up the long ball more in this 2nd half if they want to keep pace. I don't know if that will be possible, but some big plays on offense for the Horns need to happen. Now we have a turnover on a normal run play.

Penix is just very accurate.....and those receivers are 5-star. Very difficult offense to defend against when Penix is delivering.

Just the threat of Penix as a possible runner with the ball means the Horns D must devote more than they would normally to keep him in check. This opens up running lanes for the other Huskie backs and gives their receivers a little more room to operate also.

The replays show just really great throws from Penix.....moving, on the run, right between defensive backs in small holes. And the Huskie receivers really haven't missed catching anything. Washington had the breaks in the first half due to some penalties against the Horns, but that can change. Overall, a good game and the Horns look very capable.

Texas will need to get this lead in this game in the 2nd half. With Penix back there, Washington can score quickly at any time. The Huskies are legit.....and Penix most probably deserved the Heisman. Without him behind center doing the magic he has already shown in the first half against a very quality Texas defense.....Washington would not be here. So Penix is the real deal for sure.

I wonder how many other states watch our Texas High School State Championship games on television.....or maybe Livestreamed or Youtube?
