Well miracles can still happen.....albeit few and far between. Summer Creek finds paydirt with a turnover and run into the endzone.

It's a Summer Creek Nightmare........they go 3 and out and punt again......and on the very first play DeSoto hits a long TD pass down the right sideline. Now 4 TD's in less than 8 min. into this game. 29-0 DeSoto and I guess the concessions might not do much business the rest of the night.

That's the 3rd DS TD in the first 5 min. of this ballgame. 22-0 Desoto and SC is reeling. DeSoto looks faster than Duncanville.....if that is possible.

This might be another one of those Blowout games......it sure looks that way early. DeSoto has 2 TDs within the first 2 min. of the kickoff.

Welp......there goes that problematic matchup deal right out the window. DeSoto 8-0 after a 2 pt conversion. Are we a minute into the game yet???

I actually picked Summer Creek in the Pick-ems just to go against the grain. They are actually quite exciting and may pose a problematic matchup for DeSoto's style.

Regardless of which teams win and which team doesn't win in these games.....You just gotta Love the Texas High School Playoffs and esp. this week at Jerryworld for the State Championship games in each classification from 6-man 1A all the way up to the largest classifications in 6A. You get to see the talent at all different levels and compare everything. Some of the athletes from the smaller classifications are really very impressive......like Terry Bussey in 2A just to name one of a very talented grouping of players.

I had my leftover chili, tamales, and cornbread from the other night......so I'm good to go for the last game now.

49-33 Duncanville......they were able to put up almost 50 pts on North Shore. That's impressive!!

Intercepted by Dotson Walker.......that should do it for Duncanville. They can pretty much kill this clock now and go home with the Trophy.

NS has used up all of their timeouts now with 5:20 left. Now Duncanville sacks the NS QB and Duncanville recovers. It's over now.

I don't think they are going to break any attendance records this year.....are they?

Onside kick safely fielded.......not exactly safely, but safely in the end.

Gotta give Northshore credit......they got a quick score when they needed it.

I'd like to see that game played today.
