Triple A idles to State Championship Game

You are a complete moron and make no sense...unless you are referring to yourself as the "failed professional". I own a very nice business and have sent all of my kids through PUBLIC schools with great results. If your kid can't hack it in the public schools, then by all means throw money away and send them to private schools. But to say public schools cheat more than private, you are dumber than I thought...which is amazing!! Another failed professional with another stupid assumption. Go back to your class room so you can relive your glory days through the lives of your players and keep telling yourself you do it for the kids. Keep getting the ego stroked by a 16 year old and collecting a paycheck. -

OA5II is obviously a disgruntled parent who moved his underachieving children to private schools. Let's just get away from all those bad public schools!! What a joke!! -
Best High School Basketball game you've ever seen

Call me a homer but A/G girls winning in 3OT against South Oak Life in Quinlan this year.A freshman comes off the bench and fouls, puts us down by one and then the same girl takes a charge and makes both free throws to win the game. Player control foul....she shouldn't have shot any free throws!!! Just saying!!! -
I hate CV lost...G Moore will now think the loss is due to his absence!!! I hate that!!
-
I don't think so. Should beca close game. Hold PG's big man under 30 and CH has a great chance of winning!!!

Nac gonna have a tough time without one of their top players due to blown out knee after cheap shot undercut from Whitehouse kid. Unbelievable what that coach puts up with.

Upset City: John Tyler Beats #10 Ranked Jacksonville
oldballer replied to NODAYSOFFTX's topic in High School Sports
I'm not from either school but know both teams well. It may be an upset on paper, but on the court, no way is that an upset either way the game goes!!! -
Refs have let the game get way to physical. Pushing and hacking a guard all the way down the court is common place now and it is rediculous. They have taken skilled players out of the game and allowed an unskilled football player to be an important part of the game. I absolutely hate it. Kids hold and push other kids off the ball constantly. It's just an ugly game now. The officials need to start calling fouls from the get go and let them play basketball instead of rugby!!

Small school ball may be more fun to watch, but better basketball? I don't think so. All teams better play fundamental ball or they don't go very far...of course you have a few teams loaded with athletes that get away with just pressing all game and hounding and hacking and win in that matter. But most rely on fundamentals and good defense. I think the large schools play better defense so scoring may be more limited than in small school games. But no way is the level of basketball played at small schools better than at the larger schools.

Yeah...smart ####....he has played a lot of guard in young career hasn't he??....you are brilliant also. I'm not saying he can't, just a big gamble on a kid that has played only in the paint his whole life. But if he puts his mind to it, he just might pull it off...kid has unbelievable drive.
