  1. offers from Tech, Purdue, Florida State and a few others. Welcome aboard Shayvion!
  2. I hear ya, bordertown. It's frustrating to say the least. I also think there is some kind of anymosity between Deloss and an old TCU AD (Windigger). Note: TCU is not reluctant to play at Jerrywordl: It was finalized today that TCU will be playing Oregon St at Cowboys Stadium to open the season next year on ESPN. This is a home game for OSU and was a product of ESPN wanting to move the UT vs. Tech game to earlier in the season to be on ESPN. What they did this past year. TCU was scheduled to play Tech on the weekend they wanted the UT vs. Tech game, so ESPN created the TCU vs OSU game as a replacement and the TCU vs Tech game has been postponed/
  3. What are they saying about the fact his sister is going to OU? Is this a big player in his descision?
  4. Your statements infer TCU football team loses bowl = TCU fans embarassing themselves TCU football team wins bowl game = TCU fans have been validated to say they deserve to play in NC game You have put it in the context of the fans were proven right or wrong by what the team did. One is predicated by the other. BTW.....i can assure you TCU fans are not embarassed by anything that transpired this season.
  5. "Best way to stop that is to beat you're bowl opponent. Don't think TCU was abe to do that." If TCU would have won the Fiesta Bowl, then the fans would not have embarassed themselves because they would have been validated in your eyes. That's what you are saying, right? Self help
  6. Final BCS Rankings MWC = 3 ranked teams Big 12 = 3 ranked team
  7. So, TCU loses a BCS bowl game to the #4 team in the country and they embarass themselves? Got it. It's comforting to know that all TCU needed to do was score 8 more points against Boise to validate their worth to you. What does losing the NC game prove? If you honestly believe that TCU didn't have an argument to play for national championship, then it just shows your arrogance. Nobody said UT didn't deserve to play in the NC game, the discussion was that TCU had an argument to be in the game as well. God forbid an undefeated team thinks they should play for the National Championship game. Ridiculous.
  8. Anytime you play on the road the ticket allotment is small. That's why its an away game and such a huge advantage. UT doesn't get more than 5,000 tickets to any away game and it would be no different at TCU. Yes, there may be more UT fans than the allotment, but its because they bought them through other sources. I guarantee UT wasn't "allocated" more than 5,000 tickets to the Ohio State game. All you have as a crutch is "accomodating the UT fans". If this is what its about, then games like Wyoming wouldn't happen and home games against Sam Houston would FYI....with standing room, TCU can accomodate 50,000+. see Utah game this year
  9. I am suggesting that there is a real good possibility of UT losing a game played in Fort Worth. SMU is not in this discussion. Not suggesting anyone is scared of anyone, but UT likes to pad to its OOC with pasties and rarely travels out of the comfortable confines of DKR. This is a fact. UT fans have complained and the administration is starting to listen. It's also a fact that teams play better in their home stadiums. As bordertown mentioned, UT would only agree to this if they could play at JerryWorld where they can accomodate the UT fans, thus making it a "home" game. We all know UT would easily outdraw TCU fans at Jerryworld. It comes down to UT not wanting to risk a loss when they don't have to. THey can find plenty of SBC and CUSA to accomodate the one and dones. Hell, TCU even took them up on it a few years ago due to a schedule quirk. Using the financial excuse is a bit tiresome considering it is coming from the school that generated the most renvenue of any school in the country last year. THis is about regional rivalries with teams that played each other for 80 years, but one side has the attitude of "My way or the highway". List of former Regional teams agreed to play TCU on a home and home basis BU Tech Arkansas SMU LSU OU
  10. They seem to be doing just fine with recruiting TCU can accomodate 50,000........BU can accomodate 50,000..........Tech accomodates 57,000. You and I both know stadium size isn't "the" reason.
  11. Its a 3 game series with 2 in Austin and 1 in Laramie..........pretty drawn out fill in game
  12. LSU, Arkansas and OU have agreed to play in Fort Worth, so.............
