No, should be a full time student of the school to participate in extracurricular activities at a public school...extracurricular events are a bonus for students (no legal requirement to hold) ...I believe UIL policy requires full time enrollment to play Question, by participating in xtra activities wouldn't they negate their personal decision to homeschool? two of the better hoop teams I have seen in past five years were Homeschool teams out of Houston...kids have opportunities to play already (Select, AAU, Travel Teams, Club)

PG / Paris for top two spots, both have one outstanding pitcher, I think PG should have the deeper team in the 4-9 spots, PG needs a #2 pitcher to step up Paris has the district's best all round player in Sikes and if he is on the mound Paris can beat any team in the region... Pittsburg had a great run last year and returns a few players don't count them out Should be a very competitive district and I dont think any squad can run the table this year..will be lots of good games Question - has Pittsburg finished renovations to the home field?

Not all BC's operate the same and several of em operate without consistent rules in place, as people come and go thru the BC and coaching positions things morph and change I agree that clear financial procedures should be in every BC's operating policy, learned a long time ago in the education business money will get you fired so always be above board with a clearly defined paper trail..if a honest mistake is made then the paper trail will show a mistake and if something else is going on then the same lack of a trail will show the route chosen

I just read "Here's your sign" I watched Tatum play four games this year and thought the coaching staff did a great job...Tatum had one post that could score and that was about it...kids played hard did not beat themselves and were not out of position on def & offense that is always the sign of a well coached team...

Thought Center could have got a better shot at end of game Robinson was shooting the ball from Bois D'arc Street and I agree with Parisian, Lincoln going into a semi stall helped out Paris with the short rotation and foul issues. Robinson's antics almost cost Paris last night in first half. Paris/Lincoln was a game of mini runs and Paris had the last run in OT #3 from Argyle can light it up and I imagine Pipkin will guard him today...Argyle/Paris should be a good one today

Parisian, I agree with you...Need some consistency on head coaching seats with girls...other than the coach at PG the next longest tenure HC just finished their third season(I think)..the .PG coach has been there five/six years...it takes time to get consistent in product and when you change HC every two/three years the programs suffer... I really dont see NL beating Brownsboro but the other three teams have a solid chance of winning... Pitt's lack of a ball handiing guard may hurt... NL will not be out coached and Bownsboro did not have much comp in their district so maybe
