District 13-4A & 14-4A Athletics Directors voted not to have an Area Meet. As far as I know, District 14-4A is the ONLY East Texas district NOT participating in an Area Meet. Makes it very difficult to find a Regional Qualifier Meet, because everybody else is gearing up for their Area Meet!

Atlanta meet is on Saturday 12 October. Lindale hosts a meet on Friday 4 October at Garden Valley Golf Course.

As of Tuesday 4 September, FOUR teams are committed: Hallsville Pine Tree Elysian Fields Lindale Need at least 6 more schools to put this meet on the schedule!

Hallsville XC is looking to host an All East Texas Junior High XC Championships to end the season (Saturday 19 October), and hopefully start a tradition! As of Labor Day, Hallsville & Pine Tree are committed. We are wanting a minimum of 10 teams! Hallsville would host, either at our New HS OR at Bobcat Stadium. Low entry fees and custom medals. We are not using this as a fund raiser, but rather an opportunity to finish the season strong for East Texas JH runners and continue to promote the sport of XC at the lower levels! Elysian Fields Cross Country Meet / September 14, 2013 After a successful inaugural meet last year, Elysian Fields High School will be hosting its 2nd annual Cross Country meet on Saturday September 14, 2013 . Divisions: J.H. Girls 2 miles J.H. Boys 2 miles H.S. Girls 2 miles H.S. Boys 2 miles Races will start at 8:30 with rolling starts following the first race. We will have a One Mile fun run for boys and girls k-6th starting at 8:00. There are no junior varsity divisions. This meet is a flat and fast early season 2 miler (even for boys), with awesome visibility of start and finish for spectators.....nice wide jeep trails in woods for a lot of the race, plenty of restrooms, plentiful parking, and concession stands right by the start and finish area. Sportspectrum Race Management Group out of Shreveport will again be in charge of timing and results, which are posted on-line later as well. Saturday 31 August, 2nd Annual Hallsville XC Invitational will be hosted at Lear Park in Longview. Separate races for 4A-5A & 1A-3A. Run-On Timing will be used with results posted online immediately following each race. District 13-4A (Lovejoy, McKinney North, Wylie, Wylie East, Greenville, Denison, Sherman, Royse City) & District 14-4A (Hallsville, Texas High, Mount Pleasant, Marshall, Pine Tree, Sulphur Springs) will compete this Thursday 18 April in Royse City.
