Am I completely out of touch with rules or is it not still illegal to hold football meetings with students and or practice before or after school during the offseason

You would be surprised at what makes people mad---As AD I ordered new uniforms that had Black outlines on numbers and name---Only black on the uniform. Our basketball coach also did the same thing with replica duke unis. Someof the town people outraged and when I went to admin the next year they threw 10,000 dollars worth of 1 year old uniforms in the dumpster

Upper middle class and wealthy African American students will be allowed into some schools but their is no guarantee that they will be allowed in all because there are no regulations. Economically disadvantaged of any color will be shut out in all of them as will the special ed. The point was these people want segregation for whatever reasons that they choose. Keeping the poor poor and the rich rich. It all about power and control

Call it what is is and quit trying to cover it up with terms like Parent Choice--It is legalized, state tax-payer funded Segregation. Private school can and will limit who goes by raising their rates to keep out the people they don't want so the upper middle class and wealthy can get their kids out of school with Blacks, Browns, disabled, LGBQ, economically disadvantaged or whatever group they choose to hate at that time

It wasn't a problem in the first decade but has been for the last 15 years---I think Coach Webber is turning that culture around but we will see. If they are going to figure it out it better be this realignment

Beckville EF and Waskom then who knows---Big Sandy should be better this year

I pick Harmony -Edgewood- Grand Saline then its just a coinflip

Harmony will definitely be down but should cakewalk through that district

Quitman has to be one of the happiest towns in the state today--Harmony the only team in the district with more than 4 wins last year---They should end their 15 year playoff drought

I love that one---Exactly what the board President told me after I didn't insure his son got to play exactly where he wanted---They went a different direction alright. 17 wins in next 12 years (11 of those wins were the immediate 2 years after with kids that were on our varsity) including six 0-10 records. This was following the most wins in a decade in the 100 year history of the school

Just saying they missed a sure Pi call the drive before--missed multiple holding calls the entire game-- the best team won.. SOC could not pass the ball--PNG was balanced and the only thing that kept the game close was an absolute great SOC defense and a couple missed plays by PNG-- I am over 2 hours from either team and just watching as an impartial observer

The PI call looked really bad on replay--However anybody that is impartial saw the previous drive a completely obvious PI when the CB pulled receivers arms down way before ball got there---kind of evened out, There were an absolute ton of non calls on holding [enalties the entire game. PNG deserved to win the game. Only thing that kept it close was they could not score inside the 10

lots of things but biggest was those kids never saw the field on defense. hard to compete in 2A football when your 10 best players don't play defense... gave up 45 points per game

Thats funny---They went 10-1 in 2020.. I dint know Simmons was that young. I could have sworn I played against him back in 82. They had a 6'6 300 plus lineman with really good feet that was benching over 400, another lineman that benched 450 last spring, several other good linemen, a 1500 yard rusher, and 3 WR that were between 6'2 and 6'4 that can run and are dunking the crap out of the basketball. That is usually good for 8 wins in 2A football

Not part of the community---Have never lived there. Have watched their films and see there athletes on the basketball court. Have also won 8-10 games per year with less talent than what I see. There could be a lot of reasons why the job is open but I do know they underachieved this year

went 2-8 with talent to go 8-2. Hooks and Beckville were sure losses Frankston and Harleton possibles but other 6 should have been wins
