  1. Hmmm. Just saw the date on when this thread was started. Whoops.
  2. I attended college in Tyler for 2 years so I should know a little bit. The big rock bar would be Clicks. The Toadies always play there when they come into town. I recently went back to Tyler last weekend and they have done alot of work to the place. It is very nice with a pretty awesome stage for a bar. Also there is the Down and Under Pub. I never really went there that often but I know they usually had country or rock bands playing. Maybe check the Electric Cowboy. I doubt they would want to play there though. Hope that helps.
  3. Also I don't see any reason why McCoy wouldn't win it this year unless Tebow just plain goes off. Which I guess is pretty #### possible. Then I reckon it will be real close between the two with McCoy winning it.
  4. I am a huge Texas fan so yall don't get all bent out of shape when I say this. I think McCoy deserved to finish second. Now, I do not think that Bradford should have won it. It should have been Tebow again. I really wish they would wait until after the NC to determine the winner of the Heisman.
  5. My dad raised me as a Cowboys fan. He messed up when we started watching football with my uncle who was a huge Favre fan. Since then I have been Packers all the way. Even stayed with then through all the Favre drama. Yall watch, Rodgers is going to be awesome. The Boys are my #2 and I root for them whenever they're not playing the Big Cheese. Teams I Hate: 1. Bears 2. Vikings 3. Redskins 4. Giants 5. Patriots READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!
  6. I just threw my friend from a&m a bachelor party in New Orleans. I came back broke but it was a lot of fun. Since it's in Tyler if yall want to do the whole strip bar thing, Timeout isn't bad and it's BYOB. Down and Under Pub is a really fun bar as is my favorite Clicks.
  7. I'm on Halo 3 and COD: World at War quite often on the 360. My gamertag is FromAbove1986 and I will beat you all!
  8. Peanut butter and a jalapeƱo slice on a cracker. Seriously try it. It's awesome.
  9. If ya'll got time you should head up to Oak Hill, West Virginia and go on the overnight whitewater rafting trip down the New River Gorge. It's a blast. It's waaaay better than the Pigeon River.
  10. I hate being a dipper. Everyone forgets about us. HAHA.
  11. Just got back yesterday from a bachelor party in New Orleans so I'm broke. Summer classes here at SFA the rest of the summer. Hopefuly I can fit in a trip to New Braunfels to float the river.
  12. Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and John Bonham.
  13. I recently read Y: The Last Man by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. It was fantastic and I believe a lot of readers would enjoy it. Right now I'm reading The Dark Tower graphic novels. I read the original Dark Tower series by Stephen King as well. I'm in to graphic novels but I have never been that in to comic books for some reason.
  14. Thin Lizzy would be bad ace to see live at Rocklahoma. The other is too far away. Although I did find the Zeppelin cover bands name interesting. Haha. I've heard the Zepp cover band to see is Zoso.
  15. Yeah I know. That's why after a 8 story fall I believe he died. But hell that's why it's called Lost. Haha. I also have another crazy theory. At the beginning of the finale, Jacob and some guy, I will call him loophole guy, were talking. Jacob said he would kill him and the other said he would find a loophole. I assume Jacob killed him. Now, we know Locke was paralyzed before the crash and could walk afterward. What we do not know is if Locke died in the crash and came back to life with the ability to walk. If the latter is true, I believe that loophole guy's spirit somehow took over Locke's body. Now Locke is still Locke, but loophole guy inside of him is trying to find himself. Yeah that is waaaay out there, but it's fun to think about it.
  16. True. That's not exactly what I meant. I was saying that after five seasons we finally got to see Jacob in the flesh, and not Christian speaking on his behalf. Also I would like to ask the question: How old does everyone think Jacob is? I would guess around 400 years old. I am very interested to see other guesses. Yes I believe I did. From Lostpedia: "As Locke reached for the phone, Cooper charged him and pushed him out the window, causing Locke to fall eight stories and break his back, paralyzing him from the waist down. ("The Man from Tallahassee") John is visited by Jacob immediately after his fall from an eighth floor window.("The Incident, Parts 1 & 2")He appeared to be dead on impact, until Jacob approached him, and after touching his shoulder, Locke gasped and opened his eyes. Jacob told him everything would be fine, and was sorry this had happened to him." So roughly 8 stories is 160 feet. Locke fell that distance and "awoke" after Jacob touched him. So to put Locke's fall into perspective, 160 feet=a football field's width (53.3 yrds*3 ft.=159.9 ft.). So from that I can say that no mortal man would survive that fall. That's one rising from the dead. The airplane crash is obviously another. Also there is a third that I believe in, but I will not discuss it until the series is over or if someone brings it up before then.
  17. I still think that Locke is Jesus Christ. Haha. But seriously, that was the best episode YET. We finally got to see what happened to Bernard and Rose. And the whole Jacob thing is over with. Well who knows. I really enjoyed each characters story of when they first came in contact with Jacob. Did yall notice in some way or another he "touched" everyone? And he brought Locke back to life. So, Locke has "risen from the dead" twice. So Juliette sets the bomb off. She dies I assume. Now I wonder if in fact Jack is right and they will have never even been to the island, or if Miles is right and the fact that the bomb is set off which triggers the pocket of energy which crashes their plane. Time travel is crazy! 2010 is way too far away.
  18. I'm a big Charlie Robison fan myself. Here in Nacogdoches, Texas Country is the only kind of music that comes. I like it but after I've seen Kevin Fowler, Cross, Stoney LaRue, Randy Rogers, and everyone else 10 times it gets kinda old.
  19. Nacogdoches 1. El Ranchero (2 free margaritas per person) 2. Butcher Boys 3. Nijiya Sushi Bar & Grill 4. Stacy's Deli 5. Nacogdoches Seafood But my real number 1 is Gonzalos in Longview. Hands down Mr. Gonzalo knows what he is doing.
  20. Yeah they're in 77. Except for Locke, Ben, Sun, and Frank who are in the present. But getting off the island to see Zeppelin would be my main priority being I wasn't even born yet to see them.
  21. Hell if I know. I reckon that's always the question. If it was me I would just want to get off the island and go see Zeppelin in concert and somehow save John Bonham. Haha.
  22. Yep, time to blow up Jughead. Ba ba boom baby!
  23. So Daniel is dead although I never count anything out on that show. Can't wait to see what happens to Sawyer, Juliette, Miles, and Hurley next week.
  24. On sportscenter they said 7 people were taken to the hospital. 2 of them were life flighted out. The worst injury I heard was a woman got her jaw broken. Thank God that fence held and that nobody was seriously injured.
