  1. Blue Devil - I wouldn't necessarily say that Grand Saline is going to beat all the teams that you say they are going too. They were 5-5 ,but they won 1 district game. Beat Quitman by 1. The other 4 games they lost to Melissa 42-7, Winnsboro 55-12, and Mineola 52-6, Caddo Mills 36-13. I think the district will be very competitive from top to bottom. I have no clue how it will finish ,but I can tell you this much about these schools. Winnsboro- going to be really good and a bunch of experienced kids. Really good qb and fb. Eustace- 10-2 last year and lost to Melissa 19-10 in 2nd Round. Have a 1600 yd rusher back Lone Oak and Malakoff both got on a roll at the end of the year and I believe got to the 3rd and 2nd round. Malakoff has some really good athletes that will give them a chance to win. Lone Oak kids are tough kids that will battle every week. Quitmans kids will battle tough as yall saw last year. Kemp dropping from 3a will help give their kids some confidence. Grand Saline- hardworking kids and got two decent backs.
  2. It's just like paying for a hitting coach. Your high school coach can help your child for free ,but so many people would rather pay money because they think it's better if it cost money. Santos and Kendall Sanders were stud's before APEC! I would imagine your local high school coach would like to see your child in their program. They are the ones that have a interest in your child. How many games did the Apec people come see your son play last year? Did they offer the workout for free for your child like your high school coaches do??
  3. If your local school has a program then I would just attend that. I'm sure its just as good and probably free. If your kid will put in the work they will get faster and stronger no matter if its at apec or at their school.
  4. dang Spring Hill loses Mauldin and now Hector. Two great coaches and men!
  5. yes and it was a warm game. Could have been a lot of variables in play on a warm up game. No disrespect to Grand Saline. Just know White Oak baseball the last 4 or 5 years has been at a totally different level then G.S. Your reasoning is not very good either. Grand Saline also lost two games in district, so I wouldn't raise the banner just yet on beating White Oak.
  6. All these coaches are great ,but these schools also have incredible athletes. Gilmer, Carthage, Chapel Hill, Daingefield, Tatum. Everyone knows they have ridiculously good athletes.
  7. When you start paying high school coaches the money that Washington gets paid then criticize away! Until then if you don't like it go get your degree, certification, get a job work thru the ladder to get to his spot and see what you think then.
  8. Danny you are as bad as BEV if you don't see how that was a shot at Coach Hector. If Bev has a question go say it to Hector not on a forum. Just cause this is a forum doesn't give you the right try and low ball a coach. (Which he was trying to do by questioning the coach on a forum)
  9. Probably should have just called the police ,but putting insubordinate kids back on the bus is also a issue. Those kids could do something to distract driver or something or try and get even with coach while on bus and put in danger the other athletes that knew how to act.
  10. Bev you are they type of person that gives baseball parents a bad name. I assure you that you don't know 1 percent of baseball that Coach Hector does.
  11. bluedevil I wouldn't say GS does well in every sport. Not very good at football at all. Good at baseball and decent basketball program. Edgewood usually does well in everything ,but generally football is the weakest of their sports when you compare the big 3.
