Wow I figured that this was going to be Westwood's year b/c it seems Palestine has been having an off year this season........must have been a good game to watch by both teams to be so high scoring and yet so close......

Sure WTAMU has had a couple of great seasons, but that comes after being dominated by TSU and A&M Kingsville for years who have been the traditional powerhouses in the LSC conference there Lion....... :thumbsup:

It was 2 or 3 seasons ago.....I would have to go and look it up, but I do believe the upset loss was also at home......

Tulsa, which came in ranked fourth in the nation in total offense, showed early on it could move the ball against a Sooners defense that was ranked second in the country.
For a school with less than 6,000 students, I have been impressed with Tulsa for the past 2 years and counting.......When they last beat OU in an upset win, many on this forum stated that it was a fluke win, and I have upheld my opinion that Tulsa is no fluke. They are a good football program, and appear to be a program on the rise still.....plus it also helps that they get a few Texas football recruits here and there, lol.........

I agree A&M looked sloppy today. Their option attack was slow to develop, and never looked smooth at all. Thank goodness they have Javorski Lane, he wore the Fresno State D down today, which helped A&M at the end of the game......so far, except for OU, the Big XII is not looking too good this season.........should we fans of the Big XII be worried?????

We are seeing the downfall of 2 of the 3 major Florida teams right now.
Which doesn't bother me at all, lol.....I am not sure why but I have never had any respect for Miami in the past.....OU has clearly erased any doubts I might have had about their QB situation and how they would bounce back this year, and I think the Sooners are just plain scary at this point.......

Texas scared me in that game, I had no idea it would be that close. Neither team really showed anything that impressed me, and Texas did NOT look like a top 10 team in this game for sure. But we will see how things turn out this coming weekend, there are some potentially exciting games coming up that I will surely get to enjoy watching......

I've gotta add that I recently tried Sapporo, Japan's oldest beer; it is pretty darned good stuff, as well as Warsteiner light and dark, imported from Germany, and I am a fan of those beers now as well. I tried Samuel Adam's a few weeks ago and loved it, pretty good flavor to it........If ya'll haven't already tried one of these, I would recommend it......

I must say that I am impressed with the level of competition in the Big XII this season......it would appear that any team in the conference can beat one another on any given day.......I was floored when OU won to avenge that controversial call last year against Tech, but seeing Texas go down like that was just gut wrenching......I am all for at least either OU or Texas making it to a NC game year in and year out, but we won't see that this year, and that hurts the Big XII in general.......:unsure:
