desperate...well, any school wanting to play big-time football and having $ would want to be in the Power Whatever Conferences that we get to...as it's been alluded to it's probably going to simply break into two true championship divisions soon.

I would have been interested in hearing that too. I think SMU is a school that worries people other schools because of their financial power and favorable location (Dallas)...given equal footing of conference for a bit and a decent coach to recruit and run a strong style of program, then woo, they will be a beast again to tangle with. I think schools here in the southwest (Baylor, Tech, TCU, Houston, OSU) would want to keep them out for wisdom sake. If they had Traylor running their show, yikes!!! Wonder if he'd make that jump?

I just haven't liked this Tennison at QB from the start, but I don't know what there is besides him. It was handed over to him from his brother and I don't know what anyone else was thinking.

I think Gonzaga was always a legit thought as would have been an SD State, Boise State, UTSA, SMU, and Tulane but I don't think UCONN (which struggles financially now with a primarily regional travel schedule) wants to go back to a giant nationally spread out schedule of mandated opponents that mean nothing to their fanbase historically...they now think of themselves as one of the true bluebloods in this last 20 years.

man UCONN ain't leaving the "Big East"...the whole point for them to change again a couple 2 to 3 years ago was to get back up into that regional competition up there. They liked the St John's, Georgetown, UCONN, Syracure rivalries of the past to be rekindled.

I think the never studying film again shows how incredible he WAS...one way or another he was hammering SEC competition as a freshman and was by far the best player in college football. Humorous (and sad) when the Browns were fussing at his manager that "this guy doesn't watch film, his iPad registers 0.00 minutes"

yep, the people that care for him most...whether most of it is to get a picture or an autograph. it was difficult even to watch his anxiety level growing when he was at the A&M HOF event while taking pics and signing...went from high energy to wanting to crawl into a corner (to smoke).

I too thought it could have been 3 to 4 episodes, breaking down life in stages better. His saying that he has been diagnosed as bi-polar to me explains a lot...you see many with "financial fortune" and/or "fame" with this and they try to self-medicate with alcohol or "street drugs" because they are scared to "get help", maintain it, or they may not have ever been able to be restrained long enough to get a true diagnosis (and RX medicated) to help explain the behavior patterns. I could only imagine the crazy fame he got so fast caused more "internal stress" that he was trying to deal with. I would have liked to have seen him and "Uncle Nate" reconnect after his true playing days were done...he genuinely seemed to care for JM despite them getting in trouble together.
