  1. That 65 was the result of 11 Hallville turnovers.
  2. Big game for Hallsville. A win gives them a shot at the playoffs if everything falls right.
  3. Marshall is done. Hallsville and Jacksonville are not going to lose out.
  4. No contest! Kilgore is not in the same league as JT. JT rolls. I am thinking Kilgore drops the next two and squeaks into the playoffs.
  5. All three of those teams simply have to win one more and they are in. Kilgore will beat Nacogdoches. Whitehouse will beat Pine Tree. Jacksonville should beat either Hallsville or or Nacogdoches. Hallsville and/or Nacogdoches only gets in if Jacksonville loses out.
  6. This is a big game with playoff implications in 14-4A. JT and Whitehouse are in. Marshall and PT are out. That leaves Kilgore, Jacksonville, Hallsville, and Nacogdoches battling for the last two spots. This should be good matchup.
  7. You are so right! I think you and I could do a better job setting the districts than the "experts." It doesn't take a genius to realize that a school of 335 belongs with three schools of 850. I think Dan Beebe (Big 12 Commissioner) may be involved in this. : )
  8. Would love to see Hallville pull this one out. It is a must win. They can't give up the big plays like they have done the previous 4 games. Also have to eliminate the "bonehead" penalties. They had four of them against Whitehouse that were killers.
  9. That is so true. The same thing holds true in 3A. A few people with some common sense on that realignment committee could fix all of this by going to 6A.
  10. Here you go: JT (Without a Doubt!), Whitehouse, Marshall, Kilgore, Hallsville, Nacogdoches, Jacksonville, Pine Tree. This may totally change after this weeks first round of district play.
  11. JT has no business being in this district. They should run the gamut untouched. Hallsville has looked good on defense but has only scored one touchdown the last two weeks on offense. They have to find a way to get some offensive production while the defense has to create turnovers and prevent the big plays. If they do so, it could be interesting. If not, it could be over quick.
