  1. I am a big fan of Gilmer's playbook. Gets the players in space and creates one on one situations. Awesome. ..
  2. What time do they close? Forgot about the roadhouse...
  3. Red lobster sounds good right about now...
  4. 90 percent of Atlanta fans are leaving. Wow. Im with ya till the buzzer sounds guys.
  5. Every team has a chance on any day. There could be the next Ray Lewis, Tom Brady, Deon Sanders, or whomever come out of East Texas, but there could also be one kid at home reading what we put on here and second guess his abilities. Just saying lets do this with class and not with bad intentions. I have grown over the years and have made some crazy comments before myself so im talking to myself as well. The best team might not be the one hoisting the State Championship trophy, it could be the luckiest team. Any thing is possible.
  6. When the smoke clears and all the high school football analyst go back to talking with our wives instead of mouth wrestling on smoaky, lets have some good ole over 40 flag football games and relive our younger days. I promise after ten minutes we will remember how tough it is to play this game we love so much and talk about. Its cool to get on here wish teams the best but over the years I've seen this site turn into something on the Lifetime Network. Drama. No need to talk down or about coaches and players. These kids risk their lives every week trying to impress their parents, friends, coaches, and scouts and then a few knuckle heads get on here making them feel as if they dont have a snowballs chance in hell of winning or even being on the field some teams. Its ok to support your team but not at the expense of making another team or kid feel bad especially when they just got put out of the playoffs. Gladewater and every other team we have played this year left no doubt in Atlanta's mind that they came to beat us. We respect every team we face and work hard to get that win. If you dont play better than the other team you lose. If your score is less than theirs at the end of the 4th quarter you lose. If you put these kids and coaches down after they have given their all to the school and community you're a loser. After all that being said can someone loan me 2 dollars so I can get 2 chicken biscuits from McDonald's. .. lmbooooooo. .... Prayers for all the Coaches and Athletes. Go Rabbs.......
  7. I must agree. After watching the first game I knew this one would be tough. Watching Atlanta in practice I saw something I have never seen before and that was pure hustle. Everyone was practicing like it was game time. The kids on this team love each other and play for each other and that's awesome. Although love dont win games it sure makes you play better knowing the guy next to you has your back. At the end of the day I am glad to see the Rabbs enjoying a great season. Tatum has done a great job this year and has always been one of my favorite teams to watch. Truly wish them the best of luck next year.
  8. Atlanta has been known to come out of halftime and give up and average of 21 points. Onside recovery is still a problem.
  9. Who's to say the guys wont get roughed up at the Atlanta Tatum game. Gilmer will be ready for whomever wins. One thing about Gilmer they are a well conditioned team and that prevents injuries most of the time. Heart, Talent, and a deep bench will normally prevail.
  10. I wont say what the coach should do but I know the players who are getting a chance to play should come in and play like its the last time they will play. I have never come off the bench but I remember being injured and losing my spot at tight end. My coach told me its not mine to walk back into so when I hit the field you would have thought we were in the super bowl. I got my spot back. Just saying I know everyone is going to be on different levels of play but at this point in the season as a player I would work hard before and after practice to become a starter and or a solid piece of the puzzle. We will see what happens this week and I wish the Rabbs the best. Proud of all those kids and coaches.
  11. If Atlanta goes to sleep in the second half like they have done the last 4 weeks its going to be Tatum all day. If they stay explosive and play like they did the first half today then Atlanta will repeat against Tatum. This Tatum team is not the same team Atlanta faced earlier this season so I wont form an opinion on who will win. I do know that both teams are ready to get it on, it boils down to who wants it more. Problem I see is the winner will face an opponent that will be unforgiving on turnovers and three and outs. Gilmer or Gladewater will be waiting to see one of these teams and they better be ready to clean up any mistakes, misfortunes, excuses, and play ball. Atlanta's special teams better wakeup and learn how to fall on an onside kick. Praying for warm weather and good food at the concession stand cause its going to be a weekend to remember.
  12. Not sure who wins but I promise you it wont be a tie.....
  13. It looks like someone underestimated the competition on this thread. Crow and gravy with a side of track shoes..... lmbooooooo.
