Do y'all really think this will be a close game ? I don't see this game being close matter fact Carthage will beat China Spring worst than Salado!! I believe Carthage matches up better with China Spring and will totally dominate! Carthage defense is play lights out right now. Salado runs the slot T which is very difficult to defend and Carthage dominated. China Spring is a shotgun read option establish the run type of team which I feel like the Carthage Defense is very familiar with. Salado and China Spring or in the same district Salado beat China Spring 28-14 back in October. I see Carthage dominating China Spring similar to how we beat Silsbee . Carthage got off the gas against Salado after they went up 35 to 0. Coach Surratt didn't wanna put to much on film for China Spring to see and that came from coaching staff.

He still young though. I've watched him play since the 7th grade he's nice. BUT He won't be a factor in this game. I mean no disrespect at all! Just my opinion. His time will come but not this year against Carthage. Maybe against some other teams this year.

What have you seen in PG that makes them stand out? I haven't been impressed with PG Offensively. If PG cannot get the run game going and slow the game down it well be a blowout! PG QB is not a great passer. The Carthage Defense is on fire right now and playing great! If they force PG into passing it over!! PG Defensive line is definitely elite! I've very interested in OL and DL match up! I just believe Carthage is on a greater level than PG! Until PG beats Carthage they will always just be runner up in my book. PG has definitely built a great program, State Championship and I respect that. BUT beat Carthage!!!

To which team? I don't see Croby, Cornerstone, Gilmer or Marshall beating Carthage. I give PG the best chance. Yes I know we lost 10 starts on defense. But the offense will hold it down especially with the abundance of offensive Talent we have coming up.
