Anyone that doubts Longview's potential after being extremely competitive against 5A (now 6A) competition needs to check their concept of reality. Longview will dominate this year and will play deep into December. Hopefully, THIGH can compete and stay in the game.

Wow this is a great reference point for the salaries. Another thing that's surprising is with John King's salary has Longview won state with him? He may have and I wouldn't doubt it. I know they've gone deep. I'm just asking. Are Longview folks satisfied with his performance?

Supporting other programs is their job, not some added incentive when AD's post or comment or tweet or whatever. Just like superintendents this job relates more to a figurehead for the district than the coach's ability to coach.

If you imagine your football facilities as being close to a hundred years old you might not have a very good football team. Same way with education. Not saying money changes everything but at some point it makes a difference. Once bond passes and schools built Marshall can begin reforming the way it needs to in order to be successful. Elite weight room would be like any and all equipment. Obviously indoor facility allows all sports to practice regardless of weather. Just wondering.

I've been to Lobo and I'm always impressed. Visitor seems fine to me but may be wrong. I'm always impressed with how well the campus is maintained. Also, it is a statement on the achievements of Longview those teams are being ignored. Still definitely need recognition.

Same thing I hear from my niece. She is a teacher and I asked her about teaching the test and she said, "you ask that as if there is another option." The way she talks they try to trick the kids on math with a bunch of words they don't know, instead of a straight up computational problem. Thank God for people like your wife who work through all these issues for the kids.
