Thanks for the support space. Must comment however. Tyner was throwing fine still hitting 89 in the 7th. Errors, lack of run production, and loading up the bases was the difference. It takes the whole team to win and unfortunately we didn't play our best.

Gunter plays good sound defense but I would bank anything I did offensively against edgewood as a sign of the future. EW gave up nearly 400 pts in 10 games an another 55 against Gunter. As for Gunters def against EW, if you can use your 11 to stop the QB you have stopped EW. May have to come out and watch some of this one should be a good game either way it goes. But bein an east texas boy at heart have to go with Arp.

If edgedog is from edgewood he obviously hasn't seen many of our games. Not saying gunter isn't good defensively but they are probably the 5th defense we faced in terms of athleticism. They play good sound football and shut down Edgewood's non existent run game.

Edgedog. Not calling you a liar but he only spoke to one coach on our staff about what was happening in the game. You are either that coach and have embellished things ALOT or you are living in the fantasy world. Oh and another thing you need to shorten your post most people on here can't concentrate for that long. Gunter going forward good luck but those east texas boys are tough.

You are slightly incorrect. He is an athlete commit to rice but after a workout with the staff he a solid QB for then. Also will be playing baseball at rice.

Same thing happened against Leonard last year, cooper, lone oak this year

He my son and i can assure you he was not stunned, intimidated, discouraged...by gunter. His only comment was that's what happens when kids are taught to play sound technique.

Blah blah blah i won't say much but I can say edgewood QB was not shaken up by gunter. That is something that cannot be disputed.
