  1. No game played before December 5, 2015 at 9 PM matters. No stats will win the game and around 11pm a very good football team will end its season. Either team can win this game, and that is what this time of the year is all about, I want both teams to have their best efforts, remain injury free and not have the refs decide the game. Go Lobos!
  2. Wylie Coach's show. Apparently Longview = McKinney North..... I guess we'll just have to see about that.
  3. We average 310 across the o-line, and Tim Clay's nickname is Tiny Tim, all 6'6" 385 lbs of tiny. JT and Marshall have better individual D-lineman than Summit, but Summit D is better overall and more like Byrd's defense.
  4. On August 7 in the 6-4AII thread when i said Center at GW will decide the district champ, and said one post later Center would win district you said "I like Koolaid too" and another Tatum poster said from 2-8 to 10-0? You guys may have thought it could happen, but none of you would have bet on it. Of course I never expected the horrible luck y'all had this year, but I know the Eagles will not be down for long.
  5. First i admit all the 7's are smarter than me. 07 and 007, and I follow both their posts religiously, but 07 was right to start with. not just because i am a LOBO! There will not be a three way tie for the Division I playoff spots, if everyone can maintain status quo. it would just be head to head Lv and TH, Lv is one seed. They will not tie-break the District championship, so we won't go to points there, a little like the big XII we will just have three "one true champions". The only point issue that could rise is crazy stuff happening for the fourth spot or the #2 seed in Div II. even that is along shot. Winner between pt and hville will more than likely claim that spot.
  6. If it is just two teams tied with one loss you use head to head, if there are three you go to points, if that doesn't decide it, there is typically a list of tiebreakers, which can include things like first downs in a game all the way down to a coin flip.
  7. I don't know what 6-4A II is currently using but most districts cap the point differential, at some lower # say 17 points, so even with Center winning by 23 under the cap they would only get credit for 17 points. discourages running up the score. But like I said i don't know if they do that or not, would be very surprised if they don't. As to who is going to win, who knows. The Panthers are playing for pride and the Bears for a playoff spot, whichever of those two is the most motivating will win. expect a competitive game
  8. Man i have never seen Greenville post anything that comes close to negativity, course I am a Lobo fan, and we set the bar really high for negative posts!! On a side note the stuff that GREENVILLE post is always interesting and well informed, (not to mention he is an LSU fan) which makes him a rare poster in my opinion! I especially like the 15-5A helmets and the info on where to eat. I have already set my sights on a 1lb Bubba Burger at Terry's Friday night! I want Hale to test our D, i want the Lobo offense to be turnover free and i want both teams to leave the game HEALTHY Friday night. And I want that 1 lb burger to sit well until i get all the way back to the View! Good luck Lions, but Geaux Lobos!
  9. Interested to see how our Lobo o-line holds up against two of the best DTs in the state (the kid from Marshall. Washington, is really good too, but doesn't have the bookend to go with him), and see what our D-Line and linebackers can do against a young JT O-line. We are still working through personnel decisions on Defense, but our line is pretty set, and our LB's have lots of speed two deep. our blitz packages will be wicked by week ten, and aren't shabby right now. I don't want to watch their QB run all over the place and I want Ross to settle into a good rhythm. I don't see this as a blowout by either team, but turnovers could change that quick! which team settles in the most after rough game 1s? Lobos. Lots of maturity and practice looked a lot better Monday than any day last week. Serious approach by the whole team.
  10. Because I kept hearing people say there were a lot of dropped passes. I didn't see a lot of drops, so I wanted to be able to back up what i had to say, I spend a lot of time with this group, but have no official role with the team. Not saying there isn't a lot to correct, including with the receivers, thats just not the big issue people are trying to make it. I am confident it is going to get better.
  11. I don't miss a snap or a practice, plus i watched the film TWICE on Sunday. I have the passes charted, i know who they were thrown to and where they went. Lots of stuff I am wrong about but not this. I respect your opinion and like reading your posts, but you are going to have to watch the game and not listen to it before you are going to be able to say what they should or shouldn't do.
  12. There were only two dropped passes by WRs Friday night. I agree the offense has to get better as a whole, not just one group
