1.

Actually I know which coaches y'all are talking about that scouted your game and they were both varsity position coaches. Grapeland's slim chances weren't going to be much affected by two position coaches scouting another team. And I don't believe that Joaquin guy "Truebluewhatever" is telling the whole truth of their scouting report. The way I heard it from one of them was that Mart has some good speed, but not overwhelming. Looked a lot like San Augustine, but not as good as SA. They were not impressed with the passing game of Mart. Also, they did say they would rather play Mart than Bosqueville, but it had nothing to do with who the better team was rather than who they felt WS matched up better with. West Sabine is a young team without a lot of size, but they have a lot of great athletes. They felt they matched up better with Mart. Football where there is any kind of competitive contention is all about the match-ups. West Sabine has a great young coaching staff and will have them ready to play. If they come out playing to their potential, they can make it a long night for Mart, but the opposite could also be said in favor of Mart. This is why they play the games. Saturday night we will find out. The best team doesn't always win, the team that plays the best on each particular evening wins. Parody is a fact of life my friends.
2. I have seen Bosqueville, they are big and have some speed. They will run right at you and and chunk it too! Mart was too much for Bosqueville from the get go. I think Bosqueville will take Joaquin in round 2. Just a prediction. Do have to get by the other Bulldogs first!
3. The tigers defeated the Bears in a scrimmage early this season, but that means little. Who ya got?
4. Good game SA, but to be fair, WS did score a touchdown, but the worst officials I have ever seen said he didnt get it. He hit the pylon with the ball in his inside hand. New rules say if you hit the pylon at all it is a TD. Flagrant Pass interference was not called, and a flagrant horse collar. WS was with out their best RB for most of the game after he twisted his knee on second play. WS defense played pretty well, but have to put up more points Tigers. You moved the ball pretty easily, but must finish drives! Keep your heads up, you will destroy Cushing and then Grapeland. Alto will probably kill SA, Alto much stronger and faster. Good job number 4 on that kick return, you are one of our many sophmore starters, future is bright with your abundance of youth.
5. Good game Alto! WS beat themselves in the first half with those three turnovers. Neither defense could stop the others offense very well. WS seemed to be a little faster than Alto breaking more big plays, but Alto pounded the rock pretty well. And the officiating was TERRIBLE! A good honest pop on the chin maybe just what WS needed! Should make for an even better game next week in SA. Tigers are more fired up than ever for letting this one slip away!
6. WS won 58-8 final. Tigers didn't look great, rusty coming off the bye and a bye-esque win. Refocused at the half leading only 20-0, and finished strong 58-8. More penalties tonight than in the rest of the season combined, we will have to work on it. My hat of to Shelbyville, they played hard.
7. Depends on how merciful Teneha's coaching staff is. No offense to the stangs, but WS had Burkeville 41-0 in the 1st quarter! Tenaha was negative in total offense in the first quarter. After that they put all their JV in and won 62-6. Burkeville scored on the last play of the game. . #5 will be nothing for Teneha's D.
8. I swear the toolbox moved, I was doing a freelance consumer report for JD Power & Associates. I was testing the integrity of a Kobalt Toolbox from Lowe's, against a Marlin 30-30 from Walmart, guess the Winchester 150 grains worked. I guess lead moving at just under 2000 fps is stronger than a piece of aluminum. Don't forget about my kinfolks gate too! or the other one's pasture, and a wooden feed trough probably isnt the best thing to tape a target to either.
9. Hatched from an egg!! LOL, That was one ugly duckling! Squirrel hunting? Man I always out shoot you anyways..... Sorta, course I don't have the toys you have.....
10. A-S is playing better than I would have thought, but I do believe the Hornets get their first W, Good luck!
11. I like your enthusiasm!!!!!!!!, but Alto is next, the SA. The Tigers are in no way looking past Shelbyville though, I like the way they seemed to be focused on each week, taking no one lightly. That sort of determination helps with a less than stellar pre-district schedule.
12. First of all, we didn't play Evadale, and you failed to mention who we beat by more than SA did, Teneha. We scored more, and gave up fewer points. Just saying........ We all will see if they haven't played anyone by the end of the third week of district.
13. Sorry Cushing, I Hate to infer anything about another team, but Alto in an easy one
