Marshall is one of the classiest school districts I have ever seen. I saw on MPs facebook page that Marshall also did a black and gold day day for MP.

Looking at the MP schedule for the year. The Tigers are losing key players on offense and on defense. So this season might be a wash. Although, according to coach Cluley, they have so me good JV and Freshman talent coming up.

They kind of do the same in Michigan. Schools are divided into divisions. 1-8. 1 being largest, 8 being smallest except for 8 man. There are even 2 divisions for 8 man. So in total 10 state champions in Michigan. All sports are done this way.

Has this game been moved?

MP has just completely unraveled after the loss to Whitehouse.

Agreed on the Whitehouse broadcast team. I had yo watch their broadcast when they played at MP. They are very much homers and always say something about officiating when it doesnt goes the Wildcats way.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they went ahead ad forfeited the game against Hallsville and end the season. But Cluley may not considering they have a slim to none chance of making the playoffs.

This happened this past week. The record was held by Barry Minter.

Its also Homecoming as well. So mpre incentive for the Tigers to win.

This game is shaping up to be the best game in the area Friday night. As long as Mount Pleasant can keep the penalties and turnovers in check, they should be able to keep up with the Wildcats. Their secondary can be really good. We all know how good the run defense is. The offense goes as McMinn goes. If the Wildcats stop him then it will be a long night for the Tigers.

Huge showdown with Whitehouse this week. It will most likely be for 2nd in district. It is also Homecoming for the Tigers.

We need to learn how to close out a game. Last night was a series of mistakes after going up 14-0. Bunch of penalties, as Cletus said it was the most horribly officiated game I have ever witnessed.

That was the best the defense has played all season. Couple of those lineman are freshman.

Is the MP and Marshall game streaming anywhere?

62-16. MP kept it close for a qtr and a half. Then it all came crashing down for the Tigers after the touchdown to put Emerson up 14-7.

MP losing to Emerson is no surprise. But there was some questionable calls by the refs. One of which was a touchdown on a play where the chains werent set yet. Do the chains have to be set for a play to be ran? There was also a few punches, thrown after that play, by MP. They had some fire in them to start the game but after the punched thrown, the fire died. What is the rules on ejections for punches? Will the player be out for 1 half or 2 halves? If it is 2 halves then the MP player will miss the first half of the THigh game.

Gameday. Safe travels to all Mavericks heading to MP for the game tonight. GO TIGERS BEAT THE MAVERICKS!!

The #3 ranked team in 5A D2 travels to Mount Pleasant to take on the Tigers. The Mavericks come into the game 3-0 while the Tigers come into the game 2-0. The Tigers last game against LE being cancelled due to the weather. The Tigers came out a little flat in the game against LE which ended up putting them behind at the half 12-7 before the game was called. They may have been looking ahead to this game. I look for the Tigers to be ready for this as they can consider this a revenge game from last years beating at the hands of the Mavericks. Even though the Tigers will be ready, I do not think they will be able to handle the Mavs. They may stay close until halftime but I look for this to end up being a blowout. As A Tiger fan, I hope it is not a blowout. Especially with district play right around the corner.
